Shift Compensation. A work day will be broken into three shift periods and Employees working other than the daytime (first) shift shall receive additional compensation as noted below. All shift hours which overlap two designated shift periods will be recognized for pay purposes to be within that shift period wherein over 60% of the working hours are set.
Shift Compensation. Any employee in the unit whose assigned work shift commences after 12.00 p.m. shall be paid a night shift premium of five percent (5%) above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
Shift Compensation. Employees working any straight time hours during the “B” shift shall receive an additional five (5) percent added to their rate of pay for all such hours worked consistent with the Fair Labor Standards Act. (FLSA).
Shift Compensation. Shift employees off duty and returning to work for attendance at departmental meetings, shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours overtime pay for each such meeting attended in its entirety. If a shift employee is not notified via voice mail of the cancellation of a scheduled meeting prior to the end of the first shift on the day prior to the meeting and he/she shows up for the meeting, he/she shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours pay at the applicable overtime rate.
Shift Compensation a. Custodians who work midnight – 8:00 am shall receive extra compensation at a rate of $300 per year.
Shift Compensation. Employees working any straight time hours during the “B” shift shall receive an additional five (5) percent added to their rate of pay for all such hours worked consistent with the Fair Labor Standards Act. (FLSA). This XXX seeks to clarify when the “B” shift differential should be applied to overtime hours. The parties mutually agree the contract language above and implementation of that language consistent with the FLSA and the City’s payroll system necessitates that the overtime rate for an employee working any straight time hours on the “B” shift, during each defined FLSA workweek, will include the five (5) percent application of rate. This XXX and understanding of the CBA language shall be applied retroactively to overtime hours to the date when “B” Shift differential took effect, payroll date of April 26, 2020. The XXX is not to be used as a precedent with respect to any other contracts for any other divisions or departments of the City or any other Union.
Shift Compensation. A. Each officer, of the uniformed patrol division, traffic division and Roving Anti-Crime Unit who is actively working a 4 2 non rotating shift, will be paid the value of two hours pay, each payroll period, at straight time, not to exceed 52 hours per year.
Shift Compensation. 20.01 The Company agrees to pay all Warehouse employees, covered by this Agreement sixty cents ($0.60) per hour, in addition to their applicable straight time hourly rate, for all hours worked between the hours of three (3) p.m. and six (6) a.m. on any shift commencing after twelve (12) noon. Effective with the discontinuance of actual warehousing operations, this Section 20.01 will no longer be in effect.
