Sick Leave – Earned. Earned" sick leave is the number of hours the unit member shall be entitled to earn each month at their full rate of pay for illness or injury.

Sick Leave – Earned. An employee who is employed for summer session shall be granted the use of one day of sick leave per three weeks which was accrued during the regular school year, if that employee is unable to perform his/her duties in the school because of "sick leave" (as defined in Article 20, Section 1).
Sick Leave – Earned. Sick leave is earned at the rate of 4.6 hours per pay period so long as the employee is in active pay status, including all Employer-paid leave, excluding overtime status, a leave of absence without pay, layoff, disciplinary suspension, or any other unpaid leave. The maximum accrual for members in the bargaining unit shall be one hundred twenty (120) hours in any calendar year. Sick leave can be accrued indefinitely. Sick leave can be transferred between county and other city and state departments.
Sick Leave – Earned. All full-time Employees shall earn sick leave at the rate of five (5) hours per pay [ten (10) hours per month or one and one-quarter (1 1/4) days per month] and may accumulate such sick leave to a maximum of 2000 hours (250 work days); provided, however, that an Employee shall not earn sick leave for any month unless the Employee is in full pay status for at least twenty (20) work days during such monthly period.

  • Sick Leave Pay A Nurse granted sick leave shall be paid for the period of such leave at her or his regular hourly rate of pay and the number of hours thus paid shall be deducted from the accumulated sick leave credits of the Nurse.

  • Sick Leave Bonus ‌ For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • Sick Leave Payout No cash payment for unused sick leave will be paid to any employee leaving the service of the Employer.

  • Sick Leave Incentive Effective September 1, 1986, employees covered by this Agreement, hired on or after October 1, 1977, who are not entitled to disability leave under State Statute R.C.W. 41.26, shall be eligible for the following sick leave incentive program:

  • Sick Leave Payment (a) The District shall for all Regular Full-time and Regular Part-time employees who have completed three (3) months continuous employment, subject to the conditions as set forth herein:

  • Sick Leave Exhausted (a) After earned sick leave has been exhausted, the Agency shall grant sick leave without pay for any job-incurred injury or illness for a period which shall terminate upon demand by the employee for reinstatement accompanied by a certificate issued by the duly licensed attending physician that the employee is physically and/or mentally able to perform the duties of the position.

  • Sick Leave Payoff Employee with accrued, unused sick leave may, at the time of separation, select one of the following options for reimbursement:

  • SICK LEAVE OF ABSENCE 25.01 Employees, who are permitted to go home due to non- occupational illness or injury, will not be paid for the remainder of their shift.

  • Sick Leave Allowance Faculty with a full-time assignment shall accrue sick leave at the rate of eight
