Singers. Each singer, whether solo, duo or group shall be compensated at the rate of $20.64 per hour for each of the first eight hours on any day with a minimum guarantee of three (3) hours. Overtime shall be paid based upon the minimum or individually negotiated hourly rate applicable to the third through eighth hour. The ninth and tenth hours shall be paid at time-and-one-half ($30.96 based on the applicable minimum); all hours in excess of ten hours shall be paid at double-time ($41.28 based on applicable minimum). Any part of an hour shall be deemed a full hour for the purposes of calculating compensation.
Singers. Rewrite the clauses pertaining to Singers in both the Radio and Television Agreements, such that the terms and conditions reflect the terms and conditions, including the 5 (five) Module format, covered under the Canadian Federation of Musicians Agreement. The key benefits of the new terms and conditions for Singers are as follows: Musical content can be made available on all platforms across the organization, facilitating and encouraging more frequent contracting & exposure for singers. Especially those involved in multilingual, cross platform projects. Aligned Rights and payment structure encourage greater distribution potential. Simpler terms and conditions which are easily understood for programme areas, make it less complicated for programme areas to contract singers. In many cases the singers will be engaged for a single platform, using the multi-platform rate. They will receive a higher upfront payment. BASIC SESSION A basic session requires a minimum three (3) hour call for Singers. The fee for such call is comprised of both a broadcast fee and a work time fee based on three (3) hours. Unlimited Content can be recorded within a three (3) hour call. Content recorded can be used in whole or in part across all CBC platforms and CBC branded platforms for a one (1) year period. Any one (1) year period begins on the date of first use on any CBC or CBC branded platform. Additional work time beyond the minimum three (3) hour call may be contracted as one (1) call of five (5) hours or longer, which may be divided into two (2) segments neither of which segments may be less than two (2) hours in length. The break between segments shall not exceed two (2) hours. Rest Period: It is agreed, that on all sessions there shall be a rest period of not less than ten (10) minutes per hour, and five (5) minutes per ½ hour. Such rest period shall not be taken in the first ½ hour of the scheduled session, and no session shall continue for more than 1 ½ hours without a rest period. Rest period time during a live recording may be taken prior to or after the recording. THEME MUSIC – 3 hour sessions Theme music may be utilized for programme openings/closing and intros/extros to and for commercials, series and station IDs.   • Bus Drivers The provisions of this Article apply to school term bus drivers except as hereinafter modified. Bus Drivers are guaranteed a base of one thousand and ninety (1090) hours per school year. Guarantee consists of 1090 hours divided by possible working days in a school year times actual number of days worked. This excludes Saturday and Sunday and General Holiday trips. (a) Regular shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers to school in the morning and home in the afternoon. (b) Extra shift is defined as the conveyance of passengers for extra-curricular activities. (c) Shifts shall be paid at a minimum of two (2) hours and drivers' time will be uninterrupted if less than one-half (½) hour remains between shifts. (i) Drivers are entitled to one 15 minute rest period after two (2) hours of work and a second rest period after six (6) hours of work. Paid waiting times of 15 minutes or more will be construed as a paid rest period regardless of the length of time spent waiting. (d) All work after nineteen hundred (1900) hours on those days on which the regular shift has been worked shall be deemed to be overtime. After twelve (12) hours from the start of the regular shift, work will be deemed as overtime. (e) Hours of work consisting of regular and extra shifts and overtime are shared as equally as possible amongst drivers. Each driver has the opportunity to choose a percentage of the work available beyond one’s guaranteed hours, although the decision of the Employer will prevail. If no drivers are available, other transportation department staff may share the work. (f) Where School District transportation is used for extra-curricular trips on Saturdays and Sundays, the following applies instead of the overtime rates in Article 10.2: (i) Time and one-half (1 ½) regular rate for driving to and from destination. (ii) Upon arrival at destination, waiting time shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. (iii) No shift will be paid less than four (4) hours. (iv) Trips that are cancelled where the driver positions into departure point/school shall be paid at two (2) hours at one and one half (1 ½) times the regular rate. (v) All work carried out in this sub paragraph 9.5(f) shall be on a volunteer basis and shared as equally as possible. All Transportation employees may participate and shall be paid at the Bus Driver rate of pay. (vi) An exception to 9.5 (f) (i) to (iv) above will apply to bus driving on ski trips. Bus drivers who drive on ski trips shall share those hours only with other registered ski trip drivers. (g) Work carried out on General Holidays shall be paid in accordance with the current contract rates. (h) At the end of each school year a review of school bus drivers’ hours of work will be made to ensure minimum guarantee is met. Any shortages will be paid out.

  • Radiation Therapy/Chemotherapy Services This plan covers chemotherapy and radiation services. This plan covers respiratory therapy services. When respiratory services are provided in your home, as part of a home care program, durable medical equipment, supplies, and oxygen are covered as a durable medical equipment service.

  • Moonlighting Employment as a physician in a professional capacity outside of what is outlined in this Agreement, whether temporary special medical activity (“TSMA”) or external moonlighting, must be approved in writing, in advance, by the Departmental Chair, Program Director and Director of Graduate Medical Education (or designee). Even if approved, professional and general liability insurance as outlined in Section 5.4 is not provided to Trainee engaged in external moonlighting. Trainee acknowledges he or she has the responsibility to obtain insurance for such engagement. TSMA and external moonlighting must be included and reported as part of Trainee's hours spent on clinical experience and education. Trainee shall not be required to engage in any outside work.

  • Welding Welding and use of cutting torches or cutoff saws will be permitted only in areas that have been cleared or are free of all material capable of carrying fire. Flammable debris and vegetation must be removed from within a minimum 10-foot radius of all welding and cutting operations. A shovel and a 5-gallon standard backpack water container filled and with handpump attached shall be immediately available for use in the event of a fire start. C8.64 – DEBARMENT AND SUSPENSION CERTIFICATION (3/18). Pursuant to 2 CFR 180 and 2 CFR 417, Purchaser shall certify and obtain certifications from its Subcontractors regarding debarment, suspension, ineligibility, and voluntary exclusion, including additional Subcontractors obtained after award of this contract. “Subcontractors” are participants in lower tier covered transactions. Purchaser may rely upon a certification of a prospective Subcontractor that it is not proposed for debarment under 48 CFR 9.4, debarred, suspended, ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participating in covered transactions or timber sales, unless Purchaser knows that the certification is erroneous. Purchaser shall keep the certifications of its Subcontractors on file until timber sale Termination Date and any extensions thereof, and will provide a copy at the written request of Contracting Officer. Nothing contained in the foregoing shall be construed to require establishment of a system of records in order to render in good faith the certification required by this Subsection. The knowledge and information of Purchaser is not required to exceed that which is normally possessed by a prudent person in the ordinary course of business dealings. If Purchaser knowingly enters into a timber sale transaction with a person who is proposed for debarment under 48 CFR 9.4, suspended, debarred, ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in covered transactions or timber sales, in addition to other remedies available to the Government, Forest Service may pursue available remedies, including suspension and/or debarment. Contracting Officer shall provide a copy of Forms AD-1047 Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension and Other Responsibility Matters – Primary Covered Transactions and AD-1048 Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility and Voluntary Exclusion – Lower Tier Covered Transactions to the Purchaser. Purchaser shall complete form AD-1047 and provide to the Contracting Officer upon request. Purchaser shall require each subcontractor to complete form AD-1048 and provide to the Contracting Officer upon request.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Furloughs Appointing officers are encouraged to furlough entire operational units within departments rather than individual employees; or stagger work hours within an operational unit on a reduced hours basis. The decision of the appointing officer to impose furloughs under this subsection, and the appointing officer's determination of what constitutes an operational unit, shall be final. Where, in the discretion of the appointing officer, furlough of an operational unit as prescribed above is not feasible, individual employees within an operational unit may be furloughed. To the extent practicable, furlough shall be equitably distributed among all of the employees in the affected department or operational unit to which the Projected Deficit Notice (PDN) has application; and, all of the employees in the affected class(es). In determining which employees to furlough, an appointing officer shall consider citywide seniority within a class as well as considering the operational needs of the department. In no event shall furlough be imposed upon an employee for more than four days in any three month period or ten days in any fiscal year. Voluntary time off not to exceed a total of five days per quarter or ten days per year, approved pursuant to this section, shall be credited toward the maximum number of furlough days which may be imposed pursuant to this provision. Employees placed on furlough pursuant to this section shall be notified in writing at least 15 calendar days in advance of the effective date for the furlough. The decision to furlough an individual employee within an operational unit shall be final except that an employee given notice of a furlough, which taken together with an employee's prior furloughs in the same fiscal year would exceed five working days within any six month period, may file an appeal. Such appeals must be in writing and filed within three calendar days of the date of the notice of furlough with the Human Resources Director with a copy to the appointing officer. Within three calendar days after receiving the appeal, the Department of Human Resources shall refer the written appeal and the appointing officer's written comments, if any, for determination to the Human Resources Director, the Mayor and the Controller, or their designees, who shall meet on no less than 24 hours public notice. The determination regarding the appeal shall be rendered within seven calendar days of the date of the appeal. This decision is final and shall not be reconsidered by the Civil Service Commission. The Human Resources Director shall notify the employee and the appointing officer of the decision prior to the effective date of the furlough.

  • Prosthodontics We Cover prosthodontic services as follows:

  • Wellness i. To support the statewide goal for a healthy and productive workforce, employees are encouraged to participate in a Well-Being Assessment survey. Employees will be granted work time and may use a state computer to complete the survey. ii. The Coalition of Unions agrees to partner with the Employer to educate their members on the wellness program and encourage participation. Eligible, enrolled subscribers who register for the Smart Health Program and complete the Well-Being Assessment will be eligible to receive a twenty-five dollar ($25) gift certificate. In addition, eligible, enrolled subscribers shall have the option to earn an annual one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) or more wellness incentive in the form of reduction in deductible or deposit into the Health Savings Account upon successful completion of required Smart Health Program activities. During the term of this Agreement, the Steering Committee created by Executive Order 13-06 shall make recommendations to the PEBB regarding changes to the wellness incentive or the elements of the Smart Health Program.
