Solidarity Fund. 20.01 With respect to this Article, the contracting parties agree to comply with An Act to Establish the Solidarity fund of Québec (F.T.Q.), hereinafter called ‘the Fund’, with the Quebec Securities Act (1982, Chapter 48) and it regulations, as well as with any other existing applicable law and regulation when the text of this Collective Agreement has no express provision for this purpose.

Solidarity Fund. In the event that any or all members of CUPE Local 1289 elect to contribute to the CUPE Solidarity Fund the City shall deduct the appropriate amount from the employee's pay cheque on a weekly basis and remit the deductions to the Fund Administrator on a monthly basis no later than the 10th day of the month following the month for which the deductions have been made. Solidarity Fund. Once a civil year, an employee may ask in wr iting, by signing the proper enrolment form, to subscribe, by the income savings method, to the "Fonds de solidarit é des travailleurs du Qu ébec" (FTQ) savings plan. The form authorizes the Employer to deduct at the source, from the employees' pay, the am ount indicated by him (the amount must be a multiple of $5.00). The authorization may be for a fixed period and the employee may withdraw it at any time, in writing. The amount originally indicated must remain unchanged, but it may be increased or decre ased once a civil year. The given authorization, or the withdrawal of the authorization, must take effect, at the latest, the third (3 rd) pay period following the Employer's reception of the written notice. At the latest, the fifteenth (15 th) day of the month following the deduction, the Employer sends to the "Fonds", by cheque, the deducted amount.

  • HUMANITY FUND 44.00 The Company agrees to deduct on a weekly basis the amount of $0.01 per hour from the wages of all Employees in the bargaining unit for all hours worked and, prior to the 15th day of the month following, to pay the amount so deducted to the “Humanity Fund” and to forward such payment to United Steel Workers of America National Office, 000 Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx X0X0X0, and to advise in writing both the Humanity Fund at the aforementioned address and the local union that such payment has been made, the amount of such payment and the names of all Employees in the bargaining unit on whose behalf such payment has been made. All deductions are voluntary and may be canceled upon request.

  • Health and Welfare Fund Pursuant to provisions contained in a pre­ vious Collective Bargaining Agreement, there has been established a Health and Welfare Fund known as the “ Retail Meat Cutter Unions and Employers Joint Health and Welfare Fund For The Chicago Area” ; said Fund is hereinafter referred to as the “ Health and Welfare Fund.”

  • Health Care Accountability Ordinance If Administrative Code Chapter 12Q applies to this contract, Contractor shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 12Q. For each Covered Employee, Contractor shall provide the appropriate health benefit set forth in Section 12Q.3 of the HCAO. If Contractor chooses to offer the health plan option, such health plan shall meet the minimum standards set forth by the San Francisco Health Commission. Information about and the text of the Chapter 12Q, as well as the Health Commission’s minimum standards, is available on the web at xxxx://xxxxx.xxx/olse/hcao. Contractor is subject to the enforcement and penalty provisions in Chapter 12Q. Any Subcontract entered into by Contractor shall require any Subcontractor with 20 or more employees to comply with the requirements of the HCAO and shall contain contractual obligations substantially the same as those set forth in this Section.

  • CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.

  • HEALTH FUND 1. The Employer shall make contributions to a health trust fund, known as the “Building Service 32BJ Health Fund,” to cover employees covered by this Agreement who work more than two (2) days per week, with such health benefits as may be determined by the Trustees of the Fund. The Employer may, unless rejected by the Trustees, upon execution of a participation agreement in the form acceptable to the Trustees, cover such other of its employees as it may elect, provided such coverage is in compliance with law and the Trust Agreement. Employees who are on workers’ compensation or who are receiving statutory short term disability benefits, Building Service 32BJ long term disability benefits, or a Building Service 32BJ disability pension, shall be covered by the Health Fund without employer contributions until they may be covered by Medicare or thirty (30) months from the date of disability, whichever is earlier. In no event shall any employee who was previously covered for health benefits lose such coverage as a result of a change or elimination of the Health Fund provision extending coverage for disability. In the event the provision extending coverage for disability is discontinued for any reason, the Employer shall be obligated to make contributions for the duration of the period that would have otherwise been available.

  • Pollution Control The Employer and the Union agree to limit all forms of environmental pollution.

  • Service Accountability Agreements The HSP acknowledges that if the LHIN and the HSP enter into negotiations for a subsequent service accountability agreement, subsequent funding may be interrupted if the next service accountability agreement is not executed on or before the expiration date of this Agreement.

  • Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Requirements A. Any recipient of funds under this agreement agrees to comply with the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA) and implementing regulations at 2 CFR Part 170, including Appendix A.
