STATUTORY AND OTHER REGULATIONS. 14.1 Civica shall in all matters arising in the performance of the Contract conform with all Acts of Parliament and with all orders, regulations, and byelaws made with statutory authority by Government Departments or by local or other authorities that shall be applicable to this Contract. Civica shall not in the performance of this Contract in any manner endanger the safety, unlawfully interfere with or cause the inconvenience of the public. The cost to Civica of meeting the requirements of this clause shall be included in the Charges except as provided under clause 14.2.
14.2 If the cost to Civica of the performance of the Contract shall be increased or reduced after the date of this Contract by reason of the making of any law or any order, regulation or bye-law having the force of law that shall be applicable to this Contract (other than any tax upon profits or revenue), the amount of such increase or reduction shall be added to or deducted from the Charges shown in the Order Form.
STATUTORY AND OTHER REGULATIONS. 13.1 The Service Provider shall at its own expense comply with all statutory and other provisions to be performed and observed in connection with provision of the Services and shall indemnify the Council against any claims, actions, proceedings, loss, liability, penalties, costs or expense made or incurred as a result of any failure in compliance.
STATUTORY AND OTHER REGULATIONS. 13.1 If Seller's obligations under the Contract shall be increased or reduced by reason of the making or amendment after the date of Seller's quotation of any law or any order, regulation or bye-law having the force of law that shall affect the performance of Seller's obligations under the Contract, the Contract Price and delivery period shall be adjusted accordingly and/or performance of the Contract suspended or terminated, as appropriate.
13.2 Except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law, Seller shall have no responsibility for the collection, treatment, recovery or disposal of (i) the Goods or any part thereof when they are deemed by law to be 'waste' or (ii) any items for which the Goods or any part thereof are replacements. If Seller is required by applicable law, including waste electrical and electronic equipment legislation, European Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and related legislation in EU Member States, to dispose of 'waste' Goods or any part thereof, Buyer shall, unless prohibited by applicable law, pay Seller, in addition to the Contract Price, either (i) Seller's standard charge for disposing of such Goods or (ii) if Seller does not have such a standard charge, Seller's costs (including all handling, transportation and disposal costs and a reasonable xxxx-up for overhead) incurred in disposing of such Goods.
13.3 Buyer’s personnel shall, whilst on Seller's premises, comply with Seller's applicable site regulations and Seller's reasonable instructions, including but not limited to those relating to safety, security and electrostatic discharge.

14.3 Customer acknowledges that export laws of the Canada and any other relevant local export laws applicable to Customer apply to the Services. Customer agrees that such export laws govern its access to and use of the Services (including without limitation technical information and technical data) and any Documentation or other materials provided or otherwise made available pursuant to the Contract, and Customer agrees to comply with all such export laws. Customer agrees that no data, information, software programs, or other materials resulting from Services (or direct product thereof) will be exported, directly or indirectly, in violation of these laws, by Customer or its Authorized Users, or its or their representatives.

STATUTORY AND OTHER REGULATIONS. 29.1 The Seller shall in all matters arising in the performance of the Contract conform with all Acts of Parliament and with all orders, regulations and bye-laws made with statutory authority by Government Departments or by local or other authorities that shall be applicable to the Contract; the Seller shall also observe through its Personnel any rules applicable to the Site. The University shall on request afford all reasonable assistance to the Seller in obtaining information as to local conditions. The Seller shall not in the performance of the Contract in any manner endanger the safety or unlawfully interfere with the convenience of the public. The cost to the Seller in meeting its requirements of this Clause shall be included in the Price, except as provided under Clause 29.4 hereof.
29.2 The Seller shall give the University such prior written notice as the University may require of the Delivery of any Goods having a toxic hazard or other hazard to the safety or health of persons or property, identifying those hazards and giving full details of any precautions to be taken by the University on the delivery of such Goods and their subsequent storage or handling, and shall at all times observe its obligations under Clause 28 of this Contract.
29.3 Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Seller shall in all matters arising in the performance of the Contract conform, and provide all such assistance to the University in order that the University is able to conform, and maintain conformance, with all and any environmental legislation and laws (including, without limitation, the Environmental Protection Xxx 0000 and the Waste Electrical Equipment Directive and the regulations made thereunder and any statutory amendments or reenactments made thereto) applicable to the Goods and/or Services and/or the Contract (and including, without limitation, as maybe applicable to the disposal of the Goods and/or of any waste products created by the use of the Goods). In addition the Seller shall comply and conform, and maintain compliance and/or conformance with, all and any of the policies and procedures used by the University in maintaining its commitment to, and the delivery of, its own environmental sustainability strategies and policies (including, without limitation, those which ensure that the University conforms and complies with any applicable environmental legislation and laws) which are made known to the Seller.

STATUTORY AND OTHER REGULATIONS. 13.1 The Service Provider shall at its own expense comply with all statutory and other provisions to be performed and observed in connection with the Services and shall indemnify the Council against any claims, actions, proceedings, loss, liability, penalties, costs, or expense made or incurred as a result of any failure in compliance.
13.2 The Service Provider shall comply with any national Minimum Wage Regulations introduced as a consequence of the National Minimum Wages Xxx 0000 duty of Service Provider to pay National Minimum Wage.
13.3 It is a fundamental term of the Contract that the Service Provider pays the National Minimum Wage under the National Minimum Wage Xxx 0000 to all eligible employees and ensures that its sub-providers pay the National Minimum Wage under the National Minimum Wage Xxx 0000 to all eligible employees.
13.4 Where applicable and without prejudice to any other provisions of this Contract, the Service Provider shall:
13.4.1 pay all of its employees engaged in the provision of the Services an hourly wage (or equivalent of an hourly wage) no less than the current London Living Wage as published by the Living Wage Foundation from the commencement of the Contract. Any annual increases of the London Living Wage must be applied no later than the 1st of April for each and every subsequent year for the term of this Contract.
13.4.2 provide to the Council such information demonstrating the payment of the London Living Wage to its employees engaged in the provision of the Services as the Council may reasonably require from time to time (this may include copies of pay slips if required, redacted as necessary to remove all identifying information and other information not directly required to evidence payment of the London Living Wage (for example tax, pension and national insurance contributions); and
13.4.3 co-operate and provide all reasonable assistance to the Council in monitoring the impact of the London Living Wage on the quality of the Services provided under this Contract.
13.5 The Council will increase the hourly rate payable to the Service Provider in line with any London Living Wage increases annually from 1st April for each and every subsequent year of the term of this Contract.
13.6 For the avoidance of doubt, the Service Provider’s failure to pay the London Living Wage to employees engaged in the provision of the Services will be a serious default of this Contract.
STATUTORY AND OTHER REGULATIONS. The Provider will operate in accordance with all relevant Law and/or other such laws, recommendations, guidance or practices as may affect the provision of the Service(s) specified under the Agreement. The Provider guarantees that all Services provided will comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, of the relevant statutory provisions as defined in the Act and of any regulations made by virtue of the provisions of the Act or the relevant statutory provisions and C.O.S.H.H regulations and undertakes to take all necessary steps to secure the health and safety of employees and third parties.
