Statutory Holidays - Entitlement and Accumulation. (a) All Members covered by this Agreement who, as of January 1st, have completed one year's service or more in the employ of the Board shall be entitled to the following Statutory Holidays with pay, and any other day proclaimed a public holiday by the Federal, Provincial or the Municipal Governments: New Years Day Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day* Canada Day BC Day Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Remembrance Day Christmas Day Boxing Day (* Also known as the Queen's Birthday)

Statutory Holidays - Entitlement and Accumulation. Effective the date of ratification of this Memorandum of Agreement, the Employer and the Union agree to amend Article 10.3 with new subsection (e) specifying that those employees not designated by the Employer as required to work on a statutory holiday will be required to either take the day off as a day of paid leave, work the statutory holiday at straight time rates, or take the statutory holiday off without pay and working on a normal day of rest in that same week at straight time rates.

  • Notification of Accumulation Employees shall be given a written accounting of accumulated sick leave days no later than June 30 of each school year.

  • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

  • Seniority Accumulation (a) (i) Part-time employees shall have their seniority expressed on the basis of number of hours worked in the bargaining unit. (The foregoing is for clarity only and therefore does not modify an employee’s level of seniority under this collective agreement or previous collective agreements.)

  • Holiday Pay Entitlement To be entitled to receive a paid holiday, an eligible employee must be in payroll status on the normal work day immediately preceding and the normal work day immediately following the holiday(s). Payroll status shall be defined as follows: actually working, on paid vacation, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, or on a paid leave of absence. Any eligible employee who dies on a holiday or holiday weekend shall be entitled to be paid for the holiday(s).

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Non-Medicaid-Funded Hours Worked Effective July 1, 2021, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare Rate or three dollars and seventy-nine cents ($3.79), whichever is higher to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid- Funded hour worked. Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour(s) worked shall be defined as all hours worked by all employees covered by this Agreement in the Employer's in‐home care program that are paid by a payor other than Medicaid, excluding vacation hours, paid-time off, and training hours. Effective July 1 2022, the Employer shall contribute the Healthcare rate or three dollars and ninety-eight cents ($3.98), whichever is higher, to the Trust for each Non-Medicaid-Funded Hour worked. Contributions required by Section 21.2 shall be paid periodically as required by the Trust.

  • Holiday Entitlement Employees who are laid off within seven (7) working days (except employees subject to dismissal through cause) prior to a Statutory Holiday occurring shall be entitled to such Statutory Holiday with pay. Also, employees who are absent either the day before or the day after a Statutory Holiday or both shall be entitled to such Statutory Holiday with pay provided they are absent for a reason of illness or accident.

  • Seniority – Maintained and Accumulated Seniority shall be maintained and accumulated under the following conditions:
