Step Advance. An employee returning from sabbatical leave will receive the same step advancement in salary as he would have received had he remained in active service in his regular position during the leave period.
Step Advance. A. The compensation of every person employed in a regular position on a step basis shall be considered for increase upon their anniversary date, except as herein otherwise provided.
Step Advance. Employees hired on or before November 29, 2006 and covered by this Agreement shall advance not less or more than one (1) step each year, unless they are already at maximum.
Step Advance. When acceptable evidence of satisfactory Peace Corps Service is presented, credit is allowed for a minimum of two years on the same basis as though such experience was an assignment to active service with the Fresno Unified School District.
Step Advance. If, in the judgment of the Union, a grievance affects a group or class of employees, the Union may submit such grievance, in writing, to the Superintendent directly and the processing of such grievance shall be commenced at Step 2. The grievance must be presented within thirty-five (35) working days of the occurrence of the facts on which the grievance is based.
Step Advance. Salaries are to be paid in the same manner as now in use by the Payroll Section of the Employer and in-service raises will be granted on the employee's anniversary date, provided the employee satisfactorily performs the duties and responsibilities of his position.
Step Advance. Unit members placed below the maximum step of a range will advance to the next step on the first (1st) day of the pay period (month) following completion of the probationary period in the class. Each succeeding step will be attained one (1) year from the preceding step.
Step Advance. Each regular employee, with the recommendation of the department head, shall annually advance one step on the salary schedule until the top of their salary schedule is reached (“Position Anniversary Date”). Part-time employees shall advance in accordance with the same calendar requirements as full-time employees. Denial of step increase shall not be for arbitrary or capricious reasons. Step Advances shall be paid as follows: Position Anniversary Date Step Advance Effective 1st of the Month 1st of the Month 2nd – 16th of the Month 16th of the Month 17th – 31st of the Month 1st of the Following Month
Step Advance. When acceptable evidence of satisfactory Peace Corps service is presented, credit will be granted in the same manner as military service credit.
