Supervisory Work Sample Clauses

Supervisory Work. Section 1. No supervisory personnel shall perform work normally done by the bargaining unit employees when such bargaining unit employees are available, except in the event of an emergency as determined by the proper officials of the County or as historically practiced in the interest of Employee training.
Supervisory Work. An hourly paid employee requested by Management to perform supervisory duties will receive an additional per hour.

If a supervisor performs work in violation of Paragraph C(1) of this Article, regardless of the duration or extent of work performed, the Company will pay the equivalent of four (4) hours pay at straight time for the job involved, the individual to be paid to be settled upon in further discussions. Should a second or subsequent violation occur with the same supervisor within six (6) months, compensation of eight (8) hours straight time pay (instead of four (4)) will be paid, the individual to be paid to be settled upon in further discussions. Hours paid under this section shall not be counted for the purposes of determining overtime.

Supervisory Work. Supervisors shall be defined as working supervisors. When not occupied with their supervisory duties, supervisors shall not be restricted from performing bargaining unit work. However, such work by supervisors shall not result in the layoff of present employees in the bargaining unit.
Supervisory Work. The Union recognizes that non-bargaining unit supervisors have traditionally performed bargaining unit work on an as-needed basis. It is understood that supervisors will continue to perform such work but not to displace bargaining unit employees on a regular basis or to avoid the overtime provisions of Article XI, Section 3.
