Supervisory Work. Nothing contained in this Agreement shall be construed to prohibit the Employer from using supervisory employees for bus driving, food service and/or maintenance work, provided that it does not result in a reduction of an employee’s regularly scheduled work hours.
Supervisory Work. Section 1. No supervisory personnel shall perform work normally done by the bargaining unit employees when such bargaining unit employees are available, except in the event of an emergency as determined by the proper officials of the County or as historically practiced in the interest of Employee training.
Supervisory Work. An hourly paid employee requested by Management to perform supervisory duties will receive an additional per hour.
Supervisory Work. Supervisor shall not be assigned to perform work normally assigned to bargaining unit classifications. However, it is understood that the Assistant Administrator does work along with the men.
Supervisory Work. It is recognized that, as a general practice, supervisory personnel will not perform work which is regularly performed by bargaining unit members. However, it is also recognized that there are proper exceptions to this general practice, e.g., situations where training, safety and/or circumstances out of the ordinary relative to customer service justify such work by supervisors.
Supervisory Work. 38.01 Work customarily performed by employees within the bargaining unit shall not be performed by supervisors except for purposes of instructing or demonstrating the proper methods and procedures of performing work operations to employees within the bargaining unit, except in case of emergency. The Union agrees that it will not modify its present standards of enforcing this Article or enforce this Article in an arbitrary or capricious manner.
Supervisory Work. 1. Supervisors, not covered by this Agreement, shall not perform bargaining unit work except for purposes of instruction or experimentation, or in cases of emergencies.
2. If a supervisor performs work in violation of Paragraph C(1) of this Article, regardless of the duration or extent of work performed, the Company will pay the equivalent of four (4) hours pay at straight time for the job involved, the individual to be paid to be settled upon in further discussions. Should a second or subsequent violation occur with the same supervisor within six (6) months, compensation of eight (8) hours straight time pay (instead of four (4)) will be paid, the individual to be paid to be settled upon in further discussions. Hours paid under this section shall not be counted for the purposes of determining overtime.
Supervisory Work. Supervisors shall be defined as working supervisors. When not occupied with their supervisory duties, supervisors shall not be restricted from performing bargaining unit work. However, such work by supervisors shall not result in the layoff of present employees in the bargaining unit.
Supervisory Work. The Union recognizes that non-bargaining unit supervisors have traditionally performed bargaining unit work on an as-needed basis. It is understood that supervisors will continue to perform such work but not to displace bargaining unit employees on a regular basis or to avoid the overtime provisions of Article XI, Section 3.
Supervisory Work. Employees will not be required to perform supervisory duties. If an Employee believes this section is being violated, the rule will be “work now, grieve later.”
