Teacher Workdays Sample Clauses
Teacher Workdays. The teacher workdays identified in the district calendar each year (Thursday prior to school starting, end of quarter workdays) shall be considered to be uninterrupted time for the teachers. No meetings at the district or building level shall be scheduled on these days. The only exception would be scheduling an emergency drill with the staff.
Teacher Workdays. The maximum length of a teacher's workday shall be:
a. High School 7 hours, 45 minutes
b. Middle Schools 7 hours, 30 minutes c. Elementary Schools 7 hours, 15 minutes
Teacher Workdays. On workdays, except for special circumstances, Professional Employees shall have the time for working in classrooms for the purpose of instructional planning and preparation. An all- faculty meeting, not to exceed thirty (30) minutes, may be called during a workday, provided it is the only all-faculty meeting of the week.
Teacher Workdays. The five (5) contract teacher workdays shall be used as follows: three (3) days for district-wide/school purposes and two (2) days for teacher preparation, which includes teacher completion of online required training. If required training increases from that of 2021-2022, the district and association will negotiate additional time for completion.
