Temporary close-down. (a) Where Bunnings intends to close down a store (in full or in part) for a particular period (temporary close down period) and seeks to require Team Members to take leave during that period, Bunnings will: (i) give affected Team Members at least 4 weeks’ notice of a temporary close down period; and (ii) may require any affected Team Member to take a period of paid annual leave during a temporary close down period. (b) As an alternative to requiring Team Members to take leave under clause 16.5(a), during a temporary close down period, Bunnings may require Team Members to perform work at a Bunnings Warehouse or Bunnings Trade Centre other than their usual location without notice (alternatively, Team Members may take accrued leave entitlements with the agreement of Bunnings).
Temporary close-down. 29.13.1. The Employer may require an Employee to take annual leave if the Employee works for the Employer in connection with a site operated by a client of the Employer and: 29.13.1.1. the client plans to temporarily close-down, or significantly reduce, all, or part of, its operations at that site (temporary close-down); and 29.13.1.2. the temporary close-down is for the purposes of the client’s Employees taking annual leave.
Temporary close-down. (i) The employer may temporarily close a part or whole of a hospital not more than once every 12 months for a period not exceeding 2 weeks (except in relation Campbelltown, Hunter Valley and Sydney Southwest where the close down may be for a period up to 3 weeks), or a longer period by agreement with a majority of employees in the part of whole of the hospital. During such a close down, an employee may be required to take paid annual leave during part or all of this period. Where an employee does not have sufficient accrued annual leave for this period, they may take annual leave in advance or may elect to take another form of Paid Leave. (ii) If the employee requests leave without pay for the period of the close down, leave without pay will only be considered where the employee has exhausted their Paid Leave balances. (iii) The employer will advise the employees in writing of a temporary close down of a site or department no less than one month before the temporary close down is to commence. (iv) An employee, instead of taking annual leave, annual leave in advance or other Paid Leave, may elect to utilise the following alternative options for dealing with the close down: a. By mutual agreement an employee may elect to be temporarily reassigned to another part of the hospital or an adjacent Healthscope private hospital or another adjacent Healthscope private facility. During any such agreed temporary reassignment, the employee will be covered by the relevant classification and the conditions applicable in this Agreement; and/or b. An employee may elect to bank hours and/or accrued time off in lieu for the purpose of covering likely close down period. Where an employee proposes to bank hours or accrued time off in lieu to cover the close down period, the employer will agree to such arrangements wherever possible; and/or c. An employee may seek to take another form of leave during a period of close down including a period of leave without pay. (v) In this clause, Paid Leave means annual leave, banked ordinary hours, TOIL and ADO balances, long service leave, extra shift leave and public holiday leave.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.

  • Temporary Layoffs A. The Employer may initiate a temporary layoff for up to twelve (12) working days per fiscal year. Employees will be given thirty (30) days’ notice before the effective date of a temporary layoff.   • Temporary Certificates (a) Pending the preparation of definitive Certificates, upon the order of the Depositor, the Trustee shall execute and shall authenticate and deliver temporary Certificates that are printed, lithographed, typewritten, mimeographed or otherwise produced, in any authorized denomination, substantially of the tenor of the definitive Certificates in lieu of which they are issued and with such variations as the authorized officers executing such Certificates may determine, as evidenced by their execution of such Certificates. (b) If temporary Certificates are issued, the Depositor will cause definitive Certificates to be prepared without unreasonable delay. After the preparation of definitive Certificates, the temporary Certificates shall be exchangeable for definitive Certificates upon surrender of the temporary Certificates at the office or agency of the Trustee without charge to the Holder. Upon surrender for cancellation of any one or more temporary Certificates, the Trustee shall execute and authenticate and deliver in exchange therefor a like aggregate Certificate Principal Amount of definitive Certificates of the same Class in the authorized denominations. Until so exchanged, the temporary Certificates shall in all respects be entitled to the same benefits under this Agreement as definitive Certificates of the same Class.

  • Temporary Upgrade An employee in a temporary upgrade status shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such temporary upgrade status.

  • Temporary Condemnation In the event of any temporary Condemnation of any Property or Tenant’s interest therein, this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect and Tenant shall continue to pay (or cause to be paid), in the manner and on the terms herein specified, the full amount of the Rent. Tenant shall continue to perform and observe (or cause to be performed and observed) all of the other terms and conditions of this Agreement on the part of the Tenant to be performed and observed. Provided no Event of Default has occurred and is continuing, the entire amount of any Award made for such temporary Condemnation allocable to the Term, whether paid by way of damages, rent or otherwise, shall be paid to Tenant. Tenant shall, promptly upon the termination of any such period of temporary Condemnation, at its sole cost and expense, restore the affected Property to the condition that existed immediately prior to such Condemnation, in material compliance with all applicable Legal Requirements, unless such period of temporary Condemnation shall extend beyond the expiration of the Term, in which event Tenant shall not be required to make such restoration.
