TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. All employees covered by this Agreement who are officers or members of Local 2748’s Negotiating Committee (not to exceed five (5)), shall be allowed time off, with pay, for official Union business for contract negotiations and/or conferences in connection with the contract with the City Administration, Board of Public Safety and/or Chief of the Department, without the requirement to make up said time. Any employee covered by this Agreement who is selected as a member of any arbitration panel relative to the determination and conditions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement or relative to any grievance arising under the Agreement between the City and the Local 2748 shall be allowed time off without the requirement to make up said time for attendance at any session or meeting of any such arbitration panel.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. Unit Members Bargaining unit members on the JOHSC are entitled to time off with no loss of pay in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act to perform duties mandated by the Act.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. All employees covered by this Agreement who are officers of the IBPO or who are appointed by the IBPO as members of said Union’s Collective Bargaining Negotiation Committee [not to exceed three (3)] shall be allowed time off with pay for official IBPO business in negotiations and/or conference with the Town Administration and without the requirement to make up said time. In no event shall more than three (3) employees be allowed such time off with pay. Nothing in the foregoing paragraph shall be construed as limiting said Union’s Negotiating Committee to three (3) members, but no more than three (3) members shall be allowed time off with pay.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. All employees covered by this Agreement who are officers of Local 1703 or who are appointed as members of said Local's Collective Bargaining Committee shall be allowed time off with pay for official business in negotiations and/or conference with the corporate authorities of the Town of Tiverton, and without requirement to make up said time.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. The parties agree that negotiations will be scheduled in a manner to attempt to limit its impact on scheduled work. If negotiations are scheduled during working hours up to three (3) employee representatives of the Union will be allowed time off with pay to participate in the negotiations. In no case shall this result in the payment of overtime.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. L25:01 Time off with pay shall be granted for up to two (2) DECE’s for the purpose of negotiations with the Board up to but not including conciliation. Upon the commencement of conciliation, the Local will reimburse the Board for the total cost recovery of wages and benefits for any days for DECE’s released by the Union thereafter.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. Any employee requesting unpaid time off to attend collective bargaining must do so in writing to the Technical Manager at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of the requested time off.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. City employee members of the Union bargaining committee will be paid for the time spent in contract negotiations with the City, mediation sessions scheduled by the Michigan Employment Relations Commission and Act 312 arbitration hearings scheduled pursuant to Act 312 of the Public Acts of 1969. In addition, subject to the limitations hereinafter set forth, City employee members of the Union bargaining committee will be paid for time spent in preparation for contract negotiations, mediation sessions and Act 312 arbitration hearings, including one hour (1) prior to and one (1) hour after the same but only for straight time hours they would otherwise have worked, had they worked their regularly scheduled shift. If such preparation occurs within a fire station of the City of Lansing and such City employee members of the Union bargaining committee are on active duty status, there shall be no limit on the number of such preparation sessions held. If such preparation occurs elsewhere, the Union bargaining committee shall get a total of four (4), twelve (12) hour days per contract for such purposes. The foregoing must be used in increments of not less than four (4) hours nor more than twelve (12) hours. In addition, such time shall be counted in the minimum staffing requirements of Article 29. To use additional time for such preparation elsewhere, City employee members of the Union bargaining committee must use exchange time or the Union leave time of Article 10. All time spent in contract negotiations, mediation, Act 312 arbitration hearings or preparation hereunder is subject to the prior approval of the Chief.
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. Members of the IBPO’s Collective Bargaining Negotiating Committee, to a maximum of three (3), shall be allowed time off with pay for attendance at official IBPO negotiations and/or conferences with the Town, without the requirement to make up such time. However, nothing herein shall be construed as limiting said Collective Bargaining Negotiating Committee to three
TIME OFF FOR BARGAINING. Time off with pay shall be granted to the Chief Negotiator, a Chairperson of the Collective Bargaining Committee and up to three (3) other DECEs for the purpose of meeting with the Board for negotiations. The Local will reimburse the Board for the full salary and all benefit costs, including statutory benefit costs, of the occasional DECE replacement.
