Requested Time Off. Employees requesting and who are granted R.T.O. prior to posting of the work schedule, shall not have their hours of work for the week reduced as a result of the granting of the request. Employees shall exercise their seniority on those days that they are available. It shall be optional for the Employer to reduce the hours or days for any request made and granted after the posting of the work schedule.
Requested Time Off. Management will respond in writing to an Employee’s leave requests within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of the employee’s written request to confirm with the employee whether the leave is denied or approved. Employees shall make a good faith effort to submit leave requests prior to the posting of a new schedule. Paid time off requests made more than one (1) month in advance shall not be unreasonably denied. Written requests for PTO may be made up to six (6) months in advance of the requested time off.
Requested Time Off. Employees are permitted to request time off or alter hours of work for personal reasons. Requests for time off are to be approved subject to business needs and are not to be unreasonably denied.

12.8.1 Effective August 1, 2016 employees who desire time off work to attend to personal or farming matters shall first request the time off work from a manager. Provided the requested absence does not unduly interfere with the operational needs of the employer, the time off request will be granted.
Requested Time Off. All employees have the right to request time off. Requested time off shall not be unreasonably denied.
Requested Time Off. Banked time off shall be granted in the following manner:
a) Where an employee gives twenty one (21) days notice to the Employer in writing that they intend to take a day off of banked overtime, that employee shall be granted that day off with pay. The days pay to be paid shall be the normal amount of hours that the employee would have worked as set out in Article 17 of this Collective Agreement.
b) Where an employee gives less than twenty one (21) days notice, to the employer that they would like a specific day off under this Article, the employer will make every reasonable effort to give that employee the day off. The days pay to be paid shall be the normal amount of hours that the employee would have worked as set out in Article 17 of this Collective Agreement. The granting of this day off under this Clause shall not be withheld unreasonably.
c) The Company shall grant employees’ days off under this Article on a first come first served basis.
d) The Company shall ensure that there is at least one spot per day available in each classification for employees to avail themselves for days off under this plan. Therefore, where employees who have been granted a day off as set out in a) or b) above, the Company is under no obligation to grant additional days off to other employees except at their discretion. Note: The parties agree that Clause (d) above is in full force and effect only during non-prime time vacation periods. However, six (6) months after the ratification of this agreement, the Union and the Company agree to meet to review the absenteeism statistics and, where there has been a significant drop in absenteeism levels, the Company may then agree to negate this provision after which, Clause (d) will then be in full force and during the entirety of the year, including prime time.

Requested Time Off. Management will put forth a good effort to locate coverage when an employee requests time off before a schedule is posted. This effort may include posting a list in a designated place of "shifts needing coverage". Qualified employees will be allowed to sign up for extra work if the cost to the Employer is not increased (i.e., overtime, premium pay). If this effort fails to provide coverage, the employee may be requested to find own coverage or the request may be denied.
