TIME OFF FOR EXAMINATIONS. Pursuant to rules established by the Director of Human Resources, time off for the purpose of medical examinations including examinations by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation, and/or treatments resulting from injury on the job, shall be charged to injury leave. Injury leave shall be allowed for actual time spent (including travel time) for scheduled physician appointments and/or treatment resulting from an on-the-job injury.

TIME OFF FOR EXAMINATIONS. All persons in the competitive service shall be entitled to necessary time off with pay for the purpose of taking qualifying or promotional examinations pertaining to positions in the competitive service of the City.
TIME OFF FOR EXAMINATIONS. Employees shall be granted reasonable time off with pay for the purpose of taking oral promotional examinations when such examinations are given by the City and scheduled during the employee's normal working period; provided, however, that each employee entitled to such time off with pay shall give reasonable advance notice to their supervisor. Such time off with pay shall include travel time.
TIME OFF FOR EXAMINATIONS. ‌ If a request is made by an employee, such employee shall be released from duty without loss of compensation while competing in City examinations and interviews. The employee must give the immediate supervisor at least three (3) working days' advance notice. Employees shall not be compensated for examination and interview time which occurs during non-duty hours.

DISPATCHER/JAILER UNIFORMS To the point that the position of full-time Dispatcher\Jailer is prescribed to wear a uniform, effective January 1, 1999, every full-time Dispatcher\Jailer shall be provided with two(2)new uniforms consisting of a shirt and pants of wash and wear material. These uniforms are in addition to what is provided administratively which is not a part of this MOU.
