Time Off for Negotiations. Leave will be granted, subject to operational requirements of the school, for three employees who are appointed members of the Union's Bargaining Committee to carry on negotiations with the Society. To facilitate the administration of this article when leave is granted, the leave will be given with basic pay and the Union will reimburse the Society for substitute costs. The Union will provide the Society with reasonable notice prior to the commencement of leave under this article. The Society will grant a request for union leave provided that the needs of the students in the school are not adversely affected by the leave.

Time Off for Negotiations. Employees who are members of the Union Negotiating Committee shall be allowed time off to perform duties required of that committee. However, employees will submit notification for such leave to their immediate supervisor as soon as the employees have become aware of the appropriate dates. The Employer shall maintain the full salary and benefits of an employee on leave of absence under this clause and the Union shall then reimburse the Employer within ten (10) days of billing, provided the Employer submits such billing within 30 days of the signing of this Agreement.
Time Off for Negotiations. After first obtaining the written approval of the Chief of Police or his designee, time off will be allowed by the Chief for its members selected as representatives on a wage negotiation committee to attend negotiation meetings. Selected bargaining members listed in Section 9.1 shall be released the night before a scheduled negotiation session. This release time will be hour for hour for time spent in actual negotiations.
Time Off for Negotiations. The Employer will pay full wages for two (2) Employee members of the Bargaining Committee from the Care Centre for all days in attendance at negotiations of this Agreement or its successor with the Employer, including all mediation proceedings but excluding any arbitration proceedings, up to a maximum of five (5) working shifts per Employee member. The nurse must give reasonable advance notice to the 13 Employer of any such requested time off. Nurses may elect, but shall not be 14 required, to use PTO for such time off.

Time Off for Negotiations a) It is agreed that the four (4) designated members of the Union Bargaining Committee who are in the employ of the Employer, shall have the right to attend negotiating meetings held with representatives of the Employer, with entitlement to remuneration at his regular hourly rate of pay for time lost from work while attending such meetings up to and including conciliation. Such payment shall be limited to the length of the meeting and shall not exceed the amount the employee would normally have earned for such regular working day.

Time Off for Negotiations. Should employees on the negotiating committee be booked on evenings or nights on the day of negotiations he/she shall be given the time off without loss of regular wages/seniority. Further more there shall be a minimum of eight hours before the employee works their next regularly scheduled shift.
