Traffic Design. Engineer shall design the modifications to the existing traffic signal system at the Maryland Avenue / 99th Avenue intersection and provide pavement marking and signing for the new road alignment. The Signal pole on the SW corner will be relocated to the ultimate location. Signal heads for the NW and SE corners will be adjusted to meet the new intersection striping. The traffic striping will be modified to match the widened pavement on both the East and West legs of the intersection. The signing layout will be modified to match the proposed conditions. Assumptions • Roadway lighting is not included in the scope. • No ITS connections will be provided for the traffic signal beyond what currently exists Deliverables • See Section 4.0

Traffic Design. Signing and pavement parking plans will be developed according to 2009 MUTCD guidance and CDOT Standard Plans. Construction traffic control will be determined and quantities for traffic control devices during construction will be tabulated. No phasing or device plans are included. CDOT Form 859 will be prepared at final design and submitted with a construction schedule. Work Element 7: Hydraulic Analysis and Design IME will address local drainage improvements required for the project. A Preliminary Drainage Report that includes hydraulic analysis for the proposed storm sewer infrastructure in compliance with CDOT and Town requirements will be prepared. Hydraulic analysis and documentation preparation will follow the 2019 Drainage Design Manual. IME will provide FIR plans including drainage and stormwater infrastructure improvements (as required) and estimate.
Traffic Design a. Hydrant barrel section shall be connected at the ground line in a manner that will prevent damage to the hydrant when struck by a vehicle.
Traffic Design. 1. Section II.B.1.b.i of the Agreement stating, “The obligation to widen the cartway along Hollow Road in the area of Sun Mountain Recreation Center (Section II.A.1) is eliminated.” shall be deleted in its entirety. For further clarity, the future proposed Lake View Drive intersection with Hollow Road shall be improved in general accordance with preliminary Construction Plan dated 10/07/2007 prepared by Traffic Planning and Design, Inc., attached as Appendix A, subject solely to the approval of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation,.
Traffic Design. The detour route will be shown on a Construction Area Signs sheet. The plan will delineate the detour route using appropriate advisory and construction area signs (CAS) as approved by the COUNTY. A signing, striping, and pavement marking plan will be developed utilizing COUNTY standard details. Existing as well as new sign locations will be shown. Sign panels will be shown for any nonstandard signs. Standard signs will be designated by appropriate Caltrans standard sign numbers. Temporary signing and striping, portable delineators, temporary crash cushion arrays and temporary railing (Type K) will be shown, as necessary, on this plan. CONSULTANT staff will work closely with the COUNTY Traffic Engineer to incorporate applicable requirements into the plan set.

  • Program Design The County Human Resources Department will operate a Catastrophic Leave Bank which is designed to assist any County employee who has exhausted all paid accruals due to a serious or catastrophic illness, injury, or condition of the employee or family member. The program establishes and maintains a Countywide bank wherein any employee who wishes to contribute may authorize that a portion of his/her accrued vacation, compensatory time, holiday compensatory time or floating holiday be deducted from those account(s) and credited to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees may donate hours either to a specific eligible employee or to the bank. Upon approval, credits from the Catastrophic Leave Bank may be transferred to a requesting employee's sick leave account so that employee may remain in paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury, or condition. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition, a long-term major physical impairment or disability which manifests itself during employment.

  • The Design Builder shall maintain an occurrence form commercial general liability policy or policies insuring against liability arising from premises (including loss of use thereof), personal injury or death, advertising injury, liability insured under an insured contract (including the tort liability of another assumed in a business contract) occurring on or in any way related to the premises or occasioned by reason of the operations of Design-Builder. Such coverage shall be written on an ISO occurrence form (ISO Form CG 00 01 12 07 or a policy form providing equivalent coverage) in an amount of not less than $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and not less than $2,000,000.00 aggregate. Unless otherwise provided, the policy or policies of insurance providing the liability coverage shall include:

  • Technology Access A. Contractor expressly acknowledges that state funds may not be expended in connection with the purchase of an automated information system unless that system meets certain statutory requirements relating to accessibility by persons with visual impairments. Accordingly, Contractor represents and warrants to System Agency that the technology provided to System Agency for purchase (if applicable under this Contract or any related Solicitation) is capable, either by virtue of features included within the technology or because it is readily adaptable by use with other technology, of:

  • Schematic Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.
