Tree Survey. A tree survey shall not be required as part of the approval process of the Planned Unit Development (PUD), but shall be required as part of the development applications for those parcels submitted to the TRC and shall be prepared in accordance with the Development Standards attached hereto as Exhibit F and Charleston City Code as outlined by this Agreement. The requirements for such Tree Survey(s) shall be limited to identifying the location, size, and species of trees twenty- four (24”) inches or greater DBH (Diameter Breast Height).

Tree Survey. Quiddity will perform a tree survey that will show the location of all existing trees 6 inches and larger along with multi-stem trees equaling 8 inches and larger, tagged with Aluminum tags and a number corresponding to the tree list on the face of the survey. The trees will be sized, typed, and measured at a height of approximately 4.5 feet from the ground.
Tree Survey. (a) Carry out a survey of the trees that will be affected by the proposed works and of the old and valuable trees in the lands that will be affected by the proposed works. The survey results will be incorporated in a survey report. (b) Prepare a tree survey report that include drawing(s) showing the location and size of the trees together with a tree schedule showing the species, height, and circumference of trunk, tree spread, general condition and photographs. The report shall indicate the trees to be retained, transplanted or felled and the existing and the proposed general ground adjacent to the trees. The report shall include drawings showing compensatory landscaping and replanting. (c) The tree survey report shall be signed by a landscape architect with the endorsement by a qualified arborist. (See Note in Clause 4.3(a)(iv) of this Brief for the requirement of a qualified arborist.). (d) Make submission and obtain approval from the appropriate authorities such as DLO, AFCD, HyD and LCSD on the tree survey report as required in accordance with ETWB TC(W) No. 3/2006 “Tree Preservation”, ETWB TC(W) No. 2/2004 “Maintenance of Vegetation and Hard Landscape Features” and ETWB TC(W) No. 29/2004 “Registration of Old and Valuable Trees, and Guidelines for their Preservation”. (e) Where tree removal, either by felling or by transplanting, is necessary, submit tree removal application to the relevant authorities for approval in accordance with ETWB TC(W) No. 3/2006 “Tree Preservation”, and take necessary follow-up action until obtaining approval to the application from the relevant authorities. The tree removal application shall include a tree survey plan and a tree assessment schedule, including tree preservation and protection measures for the trees to be retained and a compensatory planting proposal as required in ETWB TC(W) No. 3/2006 “Tree Preservation”.

Tree Survey. An ESA International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)-certified arborist will conduct an inventory of all trees within and immediately adjacent to (within 50 feet) the project work areas based on 75% or greater designs. The arborist will collect data of protected trees (4 or more inches diameter at breast height (DBH) (4.5 feet above grade) per CDFW guidance and compliant with Chapter 19.94

Tree Survey. Locate the drip line canopy of individual trees or grove trees within the Project Area. Provide the location, quantities, size in diameter breast height (dbh), genus and species of trees, including snags, within the Project Area that are 6-inch dbh or greater. Tree identification shall be performed by a certified arborist.

The Consultant team will collate collected data and utilize ArcGIS and its technologies to translate what our Landscape professionals document in the field to online map interfaces, monitoring dashboards and geographic data. • This task includes up to one (1) on-site visit for data collection.
