UNAUTHORIZED LEAVES OF ABSENCE. 24.1 Absence without leave of an employee, whether voluntary or involuntary, for five consecutive working days is an automatic resignation from state service, as of the last date on which the employee worked and shall be handled in accordance with Education Code sections 89541 and 89542.

UNAUTHORIZED LEAVES OF ABSENCE. It is agreed and understood that there will be no strike, work stoppage, slow- down or refusal or failure to fully perform assigned job functions and that commission of said activities will constitute unauthorized leave from District job responsibilities. Any employee who participates in any unauthorized leave may be subject to discipline.
