Underground. WORKINGS That in the underground workings for coal all shafts, inclines and tunnels shall be well timbered (when good mining requires timbering); that all underground timbering placed in the mine shall be kept in good condition and at no time shall such timbering be removed unless al of the coal in the lands have been removed; that at the termination of this lease all underground timbering shall became the property of the lessor without compensation therefor to the lessee; that all parts or workings, where the coal is not exhausted and for good reasons not being worked, will be kept free from water and waste material; and that the underground workings shall be protected against fire and flood and should creeps and squeezes occur they shall be checked without delay; to leave such solid blocks of coal as may be necessary to support the cover and protect the slopes, air-courses, manways, and hauling roads to permit the lessee to mine coal from any lands which he may own or become owner of in adjacent sections of land; and the lessee shall have the use of the slopes, air-courses, manways and hauling roads for the purpose of mining in the adjacent sections provided the lessee shall pay the royalty for the blocks of coal so left for support for protection, if it shall be agreed that the blacks of coal so left shall be more for the benefit of the lessee than to the State of Wyoming, and all coal so paid for may be removed subsequently during the term of this lease without subjecting the lessee to the payment of an additional royalty therefor.
Underground. MINE PREMIUM - An employee who is required to work below ground, in an underground mine, will be paid at two (2) times their Basic Wage Rate, for all hours or part hours spent working below ground. When employees are working on their scheduled days of rest or on paid holidays, their rate of pay will be three (3) times the Basic Wage Rate, for all hours or part hours spent working below ground, in an underground mine. For clarity, this premium does not apply when an employee is working in an open pit mine, or underground in a manhole or similar setting.

Must be able to read and interpret drawings and layouts that are given as guidelines for the desired end product, as well as listening to a verbal description of a desired product or problem and come up with an acceptable solution. Must have a working knowledge of math to perform layouts as well as being informed as to the types of materials available from suppliers to do the various jobs. Must be knowledgeable in the use of electric welding and cutting, including metal inert gas (MIG), heliarc (TIG) welding, hard surfacing, and all aspects of acetylene welding including cutting. Underground. FOR PLACEMENT The lessee is responsible for making sure the modular constructions are placed on built-up land that is in good condition, free of obstacles and equipped with the neces- sary drainage facilities. The stability of the underground must have adequate load- bearing capacity to place modular con- structions. If the lessee installs the support or foundation points on which the material is installed, these works must be finalised before the delivery date. A tolerance of maximum 1 cm applies in terms of flatness. The installation of the support or foundation points, including the calculation of the de- sign and the inspection thereof is fully pay- able by the lessee in this case. The lessee undertakes not to cement the modular con- structions and not to affect their mobile na- ture in any way whatsoever. If the construc- tions are cemented or otherwise anchored regardless, the lessor has the right, on pain of a penalty and at the lessee's expense, to judicially demand restoration of these con- structions in their original mobile state. The lessee undertakes to respect the lessor's comments regarding the installation or pro- vided during an inspection of the material.
