Unrequested Leave and Reduction of Personnel. A. Termination of teachers required by discontinuance of position, lack of pupils, financial limitations or merger of classes caused by consolidation of districts shall take place only in accordance with the provisions of this section and the applicable provisions of the Minnesota continuing contract law. The exclusive representative shall be informed of the need for reductions prior to the implementation of the provisions.
