Voluntary Physical Fitness Program. Suppression Employees An hour shall be allowed during the 24-hour shift for voluntary participation in a physical fitness program. Those not participating shall continue routine duties at his/her station. Designated clothing as stipulated by the District shall be worn by all participants in physical fitness. Each station Captain or his/her designee shall supervise the activity of this program at his/her station.
Voluntary Physical Fitness Program. The Town shall maintain and render operational such physical fitness equipment or apparatus as will be sufficient for the continuation of a voluntary physical fitness program for employees of the Smithfield Fire Department. The Town agrees to expend such funds as may be necessary to structure an occupationally relevant physical fitness program for fire fighters and emergency medical service personnel. Any physical fitness equipment or apparatus acquired by the Town shall be and remain the sole and exclusive property of the Town. The Town shall not be liable for any injuries or damages sustained by an off‐duty employee while he/she is using said physical fitness equipment or apparatus. Injured on duty status shall not be granted to any off‐duty individual injured while operating Department physical fitness equipment or while engaging in a voluntary physical fitness program. The Town shall make available a voluntary smoking cessation program.
Voluntary Physical Fitness Program. Nothing contained herein shall be construed to prevent the department from maintaining a voluntary physical fitness program to supplement the mandatory test. There shall be no job action taken for refusal to participate or demonstrate a level of proficiency in the voluntary program.
Voluntary Physical Fitness Program. It shall be the policy of the parties to this Agreement that physical fitness is a Department priority. Fifty-six (56) hour personnel will be given one and one-half (1 ½) hours per shift to participate in a voluntary physical fitness program. Said program will be scheduled in the morning between 0800 and 1100 hours. Should emergency responses or operational needs as determined by the Fire Chief make either initiation and/or completion with the allocated time frame impossible, the program will be rescheduled after the lunch break and before 1700 hours.
Voluntary Physical Fitness Program. SICK LEAVE BUY BACK PROGRAM 26.1 The City and the Guild recognize that a physically fit workforce can reduce illness and injuries requiring the use of sick leave. An additional sick leave buyback provides incentive to reduce the use of sick leave. 26.2 The City and Guild agree to utilize the WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission physical fitness standards as the basis for determining standards and criteria for the physical fitness incentive. It is understood that the WA State Criminal Justice Training Commission physical fitness standards may change over time and that the most current standards will be the basis of the evaluation. Employees are encouraged, but not required, to participate in the physical fitness assessment conducted by the department and shall be given the opportunity on duty to perform the test up to two (2) times each year. Employees will be provided sixty (60) day advance notice of the testing dates. 26.3 The three Physical Fitness events are push-ups, sit-ups, and squat thrusts. The results from each event are pass/fail. Each passing event will accrue one percent (1%) of additional sick leave buyback, up to a maximum of three percent (3%) annually. A failure of an event will result in no percentage accrual for the failed event. Testing should be performed in normal workout gear and athletic shoes. 26.4 Employees who meet the PAT standard in a given calendar year shall receive a percentage of their accrued sick leave (inclusive of their WA Sick Leave and City Sick Leave) bought out at retirement. Each year that an employee participates successfully in the program they earn an additional percentage of sick leave buyout. For example, an employee who passes two (2) of the three (3) events at an annual test would accrue an additional two percent (2%) toward sick leave buyout. An employee maintaining this standard for a period of ten (10) years would have the ability to have an additional twenty percent (20%) of their accrued sick leave bought out. This benefit is in addition to the sick leave buyout provision upon retirement (Article 9).

The eligibility and requirement standards for the program are set forth in the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office General Order #4 and Appendix B, Sections II (Sections A, B, C and E) and III (Sections A, C, F, G, H, K and M). The number of the participants in the program shall not exceed 50. Completion of the In Service Physical Fitness Program is equivalent to the completion of 3 Quarter Units and entitles the employee to receive 2.5% of base salary for each biweekly pay period on paid status. Participants are entitled to receive Training Incentive payment for either 3 Quarter Units or the Voluntary Physical Fitness Program.

During the term of this Memorandum of Understanding, should the Sheriff determine that it is in the best interests of the Office, the Association agrees to meet and confer regarding changes to the 100 employee maximum. a. the two parties reside together and share the common necessities life; b. the two parties are: not married to anyone; eighteen years or older; not related by blood closer than would bar marriage in the State of California; and mentally competent to consent to contract; c. the two parties declare that they are each other's sole domestic partner and they are responsible for their common welfare; d. the two parties agree to notify the County if there is a change of circumstances attested to the affidavit; e. the two parties affirm, under penalty of xxxxxxx, that the assertions in the affidavit are true to the best of their knowledge.

  • Updated Information Submission by Interconnection Customer The updated information submission by the Interconnection Customer, including manufacturer information, shall occur no later than one hundred eighty (180) Calendar Days prior to the Trial Operation. The Interconnection Customer shall submit a completed copy of the Electric Generating Unit data requirements contained in Appendix 1 to the LGIP. It shall also include any additional information provided to the Participating TO and the CAISO for the Interconnection Studies. Information in this submission shall be the most current Electric Generating Unit design or expected performance data. Information submitted for stability models shall be compatible with the Participating TO and CAISO standard models. If there is no compatible model, the Interconnection Customer will work with a consultant mutually agreed to by the Parties to develop and supply a standard model and associated information.

  • Research Independence The Company acknowledges that each Underwriter’s research analysts and research departments, if any, are required to be independent from their respective investment banking divisions and are subject to certain regulations and internal policies, and that such Underwriter’s research analysts may hold and make statements or investment recommendations and/or publish research reports with respect to the Company and/or the offering that differ from the views of its investment bankers. Information in this submission shall be the most current Large Generating Facility design or expected performance data. Information submitted for stability models shall be compatible with NYISO standard models. If there is no compatible model, the Developer will work with a consultant mutually agreed to by the Parties to develop and supply a standard model and associated information. If the Developer’s data is different from what was originally provided to Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO pursuant to an Interconnection Study Agreement among Connecting Transmission Owner, NYISO and Developer and this difference may be reasonably expected to affect the other Parties’ facilities or the New York State Transmission System, but does not require the submission of a new Interconnection Request, then NYISO will conduct appropriate studies to determine the impact on the New York State Transmission System based on the actual data submitted pursuant to this Article 24.3. Such studies will provide an estimate of any additional modifications to the New York State Transmission System, Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities or System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades based on the actual data and a good faith estimate of the costs thereof. The Developer shall not begin Trial Operation until such studies are completed. The Developer shall be responsible for the cost of any modifications required by the actual data, including the cost of any required studies.
