Wages & Rates of Pay. The system of establishing wage classification of jobs into their respective labour grades as established by the Company is accepted by the Union as drawn. The wage rate for each of the established labour grades is as shown in Attachment Jobs as classified by the Company within the appropri- ate labour grade and as shown in Attachment shall remain in effect unless there is a change in work content or design which, in the opinion of the Company, necessitates a change in the labour grade classification. The Company shall classify all new jobs in accordance with the established job classification system. The Company may establish a temporary classification for a new job for a period of days. When the Company changes the labour grade classifica- tion of a job as a result of a change in work content or design, and it is claimed by the Union that the Company has incorrect- ly classified the changed job within the established system the Union may file a grievance within thirty days in accor- dance with the grievance procedure as outlined in Article XVI. When the Company establishes the labour grade classi- fication of a new job, and it is claimed by the Union that the Company has incorrectly classified the new job within the established system, the Union may a grievance within thir- ty days in accordance with the grievance procedure as out- lined in Article XVI. Any employee temporarily or permanently transferred to a higher wage classification shall receive the rate of pay for that classification. If temporarily transferred to a lower wage classification, he shall continue to receive his own rate until reinstated in his original job, provided the change is not: at the employee’s own request due to reduction in work force, due to a discontinuance*; of the job or provided he is not replaced due to his inability to do the job in an efficient manner, in which cases he shall receive the prevalent rate of pay for the new job. *Discontinuance will be interpreted as an actual stopping of an operation for a period of in case of running out of materi- als or product, or due to business requirements making it nec- xxxxxx to change production items.

Wages & Rates of Pay. 9.01 Wage schedules and job classifications are set forth in Schedule “A”, attached hereto and made part hereof. Employees shall be classified and paid according to the classification in which they are regularly employed.
Wages & Rates of Pay. Wage schedules applicable to various job classifications are as set forth in Schedule attached hereto and made part hereof. Each employee will be given a designated classification and will keep the rate of pay of that classification for all work. If an employee begins work, he shall be entitled to a minimum of four (4) hours' pay, except when the work is suspended because of inclement weather or other reasons completely beyond the control of the Employer Employees who are recalled shall be paid a minimum of two (2) hours' pay, if chargeable, otherwise a minimum of one (1) hour's pay, at the appropriate rate. The Employer will not make changes to time cards without consultation with the involved.

  • Rates of Pay Employees will be paid in accordance with the rates of pay negotiated by the parties of this agreement. The applicable rates of pay are recorded as Appendix A (Wage Grid) of this agreement.

In the event Termination Date is adjusted under B8.21 or B8.212, Current Contract Rates shall be contin- ued in the same manner as immediately prior to the ad- justment period. Notwithstanding B8.23, Current Contract Rates for timber cut and removed from Sale Area that remains un- scaled after Termination Date, as adjusted or extended, shall be Current Contract Rates in effect on Termination Date. “Current Contract Value” is the sum of the products of Current Contract Rates and estimated remaining un- scaled volumes by species of Included Timber meeting Utilization Standards.

  • Rate of Pay a. An Employee who is employed as a teacher teaching on call shall be paid 1/189 of his/her category classification and experience, to a maximum of the rate at Category 5 Step 7, for each full day worked.
