Waiver of Benefits. 20:9.1 To the extent permitted by law, employees who have alternate medical and/or dental and/or prescription coverage may elect to waive coverage in one or more of the insurance plans provided in this Article by signing a waiver form.

Each party shall operate as an independent contractor, and as such shall not receive any sick and annual leave benefits, medical insurance, life insurance, paid vacations, paid holidays, sick leave, pension, or Social Security from the other party, for any services rendered under this Agreement.
