Year of practical experience. For the purpose of this clause shall mean full-time service following registration as a Division 2 Registered Nurse provided that an employee who has worked on average of less than 24 hours per week in a year shall be required to work a further twelve months before becoming eligible for advancement to the next Pay Point.
Year of practical experience. For the purposes of this clause a Year of Practical Experience shall mean full time service following registration as an Enrolled Nurse provided that an Employee who has worked on average less than 24 hours per week or three (3) shifts per week in a year shall be required to work a further 12 months before becoming eligible for advancement to the next Pay Point. Pay Point 8 Pay Point 8 refers to the Pay Point to which an employee shall progress or be appointed an Enrolled Nurse to this position and by attainment of: Completion of not less than 240 hours of accumulated in service training since registration; and/or Completion of 4 modules that are in addition to the base qualifications; and Completion of a further year of experience. Pay Point 8 Team Leader – an Employee will be appointed to this Pay Point based on the appointment to the position of Enrolled Nurse Team Leader. Deferred progression – performance matters Where UA holds concerns as to whether the Employee is performing satisfactorily for the purposes of progression. It will be considered unreasonable if UA has not previously advised the Employee in writing: that the performance is not satisfactory, that the performance must improve, and that in the event that performance does not improve to a satisfactory level, that refusal /deferral of progression may result. Personal Care Classifications Personal Care Worker Grade 1 (Wage Skill Group 3) Means a person employed in Community Care or a Aged Care Facility, to provide personal care to those residents/clients. Such an Employee would not possess any accredited training. Personal Care Worker Grade 2 (Wage Skill Group 6) Means a person employed in Community Care or an Aged Care Facility, to provide personal care to those residents/clients. Such an Employee must hold a qualification in Community or Aged Care, as appropriate, at Certificate 3 level that has been issued by a registered training organisation. This will normally require the actual completion of all compulsory and required elective modules, unless a recognised RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) or recognition of existing competencies assessment has been undertaken and resulted in appropriate credits.
