Additional Salary Step. Degree Track Teacher Assistants shall be eligible for an additional salary step effective on or after July 1, 2005, following successful completion of 15 qualified units (semester or quarter unit equivalent) begun and completed during any twelve (12) month period. (In the case of rating in new hires, they are limited to the twelve (12) months immediately prior to the hire.) This step is 5% above the employee’s regular hourly rate, and shall become the employee’s new base rate so long as they remain on Degree Track. The additional salary step shall become effective the first pay period following submission of the certified transcript or valid certification from the college.

Additional Salary Step. Notwithstanding County Code 2.48.030 and applicable to this Agreement only, a sixth salary step shall be added to the salary range for all classifications in this unit. The pay rate of the sixth step shall be 5% above the pay rate of the fifth step. Employees may qualify for advancement to the sixth step after completion of the equivalent of one year of full time service in step five and upon recommendation of the department head and approval by the county Human Resources Director. This salary step increase is not automatic, and is based on satisfactory performance and service. This sixth step is only available to eligible employees effective the pay period following Board of Supervisorsapproval of this agreement. Salary step six is instituted in consideration of the reduction of the cash payment to employees who opt out of a County-sponsored medical plan referenced in section 12.2.2.1
Additional Salary Step. An additional salary step equating to three percent (3%) will be provided to all Paramedic II employees with five (5) or more years of service effective Pay Period #16, 1999.   • Salary Steps 1. Employees hired into trainee-level positions (Targeted Local Hire) shall be hired at Step 1 and shall remain on Step 1 for the duration of a twelve (12) month probationary period. 2. Employees hired into non-trainee positions shall be hired at Step 2 (or appropriate higher step in accordance with applicable MOU provisions or LAAC Section 4.90). 3. Employees shall remain on Steps 2 and 3 for nine (9) months each. 4. Steps 4 through 8 are separated by two (2) premium levels (Step 4 is one [1] premium level above Step 3). Employees shall advance to each subsequent step after twelve (12) months. 5. Steps 9 through 12 are separated by one (1) premium level (Step 9 is one [1] premium level above Step 8). Employees shall advance to each subsequent step after twelve (12) months.

  • SALARY STEP PLAN AND SALARY ADJUSTMENTS Appointments to positions in the City and County service shall be at the entrance rate established for the position except as otherwise provided herein.

  • Salary Schedule The salaries of employees covered by this agreement are set forth in the salary schedule in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated into this agreement.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V. (b) Salary schedules will contain Career Enhancement/Growth steps as described in Section 45.6.

  • Increment Date for Salary Grid Placement Upon achieving one (1) year of experience, an increment shall be awarded on the first of the month following the month in which the experience accumulation is earned.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • Salary Adjustments At any time during the term of this Contract, the Board may, in its discretion, review and adjust the salary of the Superintendent, but in no event shall the Superintendent be paid less than the salary set forth in Section 3.1 of this Contract except by mutual agreement of the two parties. Such adjustments, if any, shall be made pursuant to a lawful Board resolution. In such event, the parties agree to provide their best efforts and reasonable cooperation to execute a new contract incorporating the adjusted salary.

  • Salary Adjustment The salary of an employee returning from uncompensated leave shall be adjusted to reflect all non-discretionary increases distributed during the period of leave. While on such leave, an employee shall be eligible to participate in any special salary incentive programs.

  • Salary Schedule Placement College Training A. Unit members qualifying for the “Entry Level Salary” shall remain at this level until they met the minimum requirements for placement on any other salary column (1-4). Upon verification of documentation qualifying unit members for placement upon any other salary column (1-4), the unit member shall then be placed upon the appropriate step on that salary column in accordance with his/her length of service. B. School Nurses who have a Bachelor’s degree, qualify for crediting of previous experience, but have not completed 30 semester units after the Bachelor’s degree or the appropriate clear credential, shall be exempt from placement at “Entry Level Salary”; shall instead, be placed on Column 1; and shall advance on the salary schedule in accordance with the Agreement for unit members. C. Unit members placed on “COLUMN 1” of the Salary Schedules by the agreement (Appendix C1) between the Association and the District shall advance on the schedule in accordance with that agreement (Appendix C1). D. All college or university credits which will qualify a unit member for a new salary placement must be verified by official college or university transcripts in order to justify a contract revision. Such college or university credits must be obtained from an institution of higher learning which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or other recognized accreditation organization. Salary revision shall be effective following District approval (as stipulated by this Article) of the necessary credits for column advancement. E. The unit requirement for each salary column is stated in semester hours of credit; quarter hour credits can be converted into semester hours by multiplying 2/3. F. For salary schedule purposes, only semester units earned after the completion of the Bachelor’s Degree shall be considered. G. Credit will not be granted for any course for which less than a "C" grade is earned. H. Unit members shall not enroll in courses which conflict with the work day. I. A major teaching field is considered to be 36 semester hours (12 of which must be upper division or graduate), a minor teaching field is considered to be 20 semester hours (8 of which must be upper division or graduate). J. Repeat credit may be granted for a course taken at an accredited institution in which the content field has recently undergone substantial change or, in the case of a course originally taken many years ago, an updating of study is desirable. K. Course work, for salary credit must be upper division, graduate level, or transferable* lower division courses, taken at an accredited college or university, and must conform to one or more of the following guidelines: 1. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to the teaching/work assignment. 2. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a person’s major or minor. For unit members in a self-contained classroom program; a subject commonly taught in the elementary school. For unit members in a departmentalized classroom program; courses in an additional major or minor. 3. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to an advanced degree in professional education or in a subject related to the teaching/work assignment. 4. Units may be taken in a subject directly related to a credential or certificate authorized by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. 5. Units may be taken in a Board authorized, District sponsored, professional activity. Credit equivalent will be adopted at the time of such Board action. *A transferable lower division course is a lower division course taken at an accredited college or university that is acceptable for baccalaureate graduation credit at another accredited college or university. L. The submission of transcripts for columnar advancement of the salary schedule is limited to two (2) submission dates per school year. Additional units may be banked for future salary schedule advancement. M. Transcripts for completed units must be submitted to the Human Resources Division no later than the first of September or February for salary adjustment. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of September will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the school year. Adjustment for qualifying units submitted no later than the first of February will be retroactively made effective on the first work day of the calendar year.

  • Additional Payment Terms All payments must be made in U.S. dollars and delivered to us at any one of our branch offices or to the address shown on the monthly statement. If we receive your payment before 5:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) on a business day, at the address shown on the front of your monthly statement or at any of our branch offices, we will credit your payment as of the date of receipt. All other payments will be credited to your Account on the next business day following receipt. We may accept late or partial payments as well as payments marked “PAID IN FULL” or other restrictive endorsements, without losing any of our rights under this Agreement and without such payments constituting full accord and satisfaction of the debt. If you make payments using personal checks, and your financial institution refuses to pay the check and returns it to us, you agree to pay a Return Payment Fee. If your loan Account balance is less than the minimum payment amount you must pay the entire balance. You may repay all or part of what you owe at any time. However, so long as you owe any amount you must continue to make your periodic minimum payment. Your minimum monthly payment will be allocated to your account in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Personal Identification Number. We will issue you a Personal Identification Number (“PIN”) to be used with your Card. You agree not to write this PIN on your Card, and not to carry your PIN with you at the same time as you carry your Card. We will treat any charge made by you using your Card and PIN as having been authorized by you. If you keep your PIN with the Card, we can refuse to reissue your Card. Change of Terms. We can change the terms of this Agreement, including all fees, other charges and Annual Percentage Rate, at any time, subject to applicable laws and regulations. Events of Default. You are in default if you fail to pay the minimum payment listed on each billing statement on time, file for bankruptcy, exceed your credit limit without our permission, or default on this or any other Nusenda Federal Credit Union Card Agreement you have with us. If you are in default, we may close your Account and require a shorter amortization of your account balance, subject to applicable laws and regulations. No notice is required. We may also declare the whole balance due if you die, if you make false or misleading statements on your application, or if other creditors attach or garnish your property. If you have given us a security interest in a share Account, share draft Account, or certificate of deposit, we may use the deposit amount to pay any amount you owe us. Collection Costs. If we have to refer collection of your Account to a lawyer (who is not our salaried employee), to the extent permitted by law, you will have to pay our attorney’s fee plus court costs and any other fees.
