Annual Holiday Leave. You shall be entitled to paid annual holiday leave of four weeks per year after 12 months continuous employment with us, in accordance with the Holidays Act. If you leave our employment before becoming entitled to enough annual holiday leave to cover the amount of annual holiday leave taken in advance, we may recover from your final pay the amount paid to you for holidays taken in advance that is not covered by your annual holiday leave entitlement. This clause is subject to the Wages Protection Xxx 0000. The employee's signature will satisfy the written consent requirement of Section 5 of the Wages Protection Xxx 0000.

Annual Holiday Leave. 1 – All members of crew are entitled to a period of paid holidays (minimum contractual consolidated wage, residual special allowance, shift allowance, potential periodic seniority increases provided for by art. 18, subsistence allowance provided for by art.25) of 31 calender days for each year of service or pro-rata for the able seamen and of 33 calandar days for the masters and chief engineers. These periods are increased respectively to 33 and 35 calendar days for the personnel with length of service of at least 10 years. Holidays take effect from the following day of accrued rest in the shift cycle underway at the time of going on holiday.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off. Such time off must be taken according to a schedule acceptable to the employee's Supervisor within thirty (30) days of the end of the pay period in which the overtime was worked.

  • Statutory Holiday Pay Employees who qualify for statutory holiday pay shall be paid an average day's pay on the Statutory Holidays above, based on the following: amount paid / days worked. “Amount paid” is the amount earned by the employee for work done during the thirty (30) calendars day period preceding the statutory holiday, including vacation pay but excluding overtime pay. “Days worked” is the number of days the employee worked or earned wages during that thirty (30) calendar day period.
