Religious Holiday Leave. An employee may use two (2) sick days for religious observances if he/she has no personal business leave days. When an employee requests the use of this leave for days not known to be a religious holiday, the Board may request documentation.

Religious Holiday Leave. The Board shall provide each Teacher with one (1) day of paid religious holiday leave during the school year. The Teacher must be a member of a nationally recognized religious body. The Teacher may request paid religious holiday leave in order to participate in the celebration of a ritual or observance required by their faith and the ritual or observance occurs during the course of the regular teacher workday.
Religious Holiday Leave. Three (3) days of leave per year shall be granted upon request to a Teacher for religious holiday(s) when such observation requires time during the regular school day.

Such absence shall not exceed one (1) day during the school year. B. Requests for such absence shall be made in writing delivered to the Superintendent or his/her designee at least ten (10) school days prior to the Holiday. Where the Holiday occurs less than 10 school days after the beginning of the school year, the request shall be delivered on or before the end of the second working day of the school year. Where a request is denied, the unit member may request reconsideration by the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Religious Holiday Leave. Up to two days paid leave per year shall be granted for a religious holiday, to be observed by the employee applying for the leave, and to be deducted from the employee’s accumulated sick leave. Instead of deducting religious holiday leave from accumulated sick leave, the employee may apply for the use of compensatory time to work on a non-duty day designated by the Superintendent or designee. Such compensatory time must be approved in advance of the religious holiday leave by the Superintendent or designee.
Religious Holiday Leave. Subd. 1. Use: Teachers may be granted up to three (3) days of religious holiday leave. Teachers must make application to Human Resources at least three (3) days prior to the religious holiday. Human Resources will notify the teacher's principal/supervisor to make the necessary arrangements to allow the teacher to make up the days at some other prearranged time. However, a teacher may utilize provisions outlined in Section 6, Personal Leave, or Section 1, Sick Leave, if so desired. If the teacher chooses none of the options as outlined herein, the leave will be granted with full loss of pay.

Religious Holiday Leave. The Superintendent or designee shall grant a maximum of four (4) days of unpaid leave for observation of religious holidays not reflected in the school calendar on a case by case basis. Requests for use of religious holiday leave must be made in writing to the Superintendent or designee at least five (5) days in advance of the leave.
