CARD USAGE. All UB Card Holders are bound by the UB Card Policies. Copies of the policy are available online at xxxxxxxx.xxx and in the UB Card Office. CDS Meal Plans, Dining Points, Campus Cash, Flexibull Bucks and Academic Books and Supplies accounts are regulated through the use of the UB Card and associated online and mobile apps. UB Cards are required to be presented for in- person transactions. No transaction will be made without a valid UB Card, however, the use of the Mobile ID app is allowed in most CDS and affiliated locations. A second form of ID may also be required at the discretion of any vendor. Dining Points and Campus Cash may be used to purchase food from xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx. Academic Books & Supplies funds may be used on-line at the University at Buffalo book store. These are the only authorized online shops accepting UB Card transactions. Protect your UB Card as you would cash. Lost or stolen UB Cards MUST be reported immediately. You are liable for any unauthorized use of your UB Card prior to reporting its loss, theft or possible unauthorized use. You will not be liable for unauthorized use that occurs after you notify the UB Card Office of your UB Card's loss, theft or possible unauthorized use. Notification can be made online by visiting xxxxxxxx.xxx on your computer or other web-enabled device, including the GET mobile app, in person at the UB Card Offices located on the North and South Campuses, or by calling (000) 000-0000. You will be notified of any other methods of reporting your card lost or stolen as they become available. For your security, if another person uses your UB Card, it will be considered stolen and will be confiscated and destroyed. You will be charged a fee for replacement and the user may be subject to legal action. Do NOT lend your UB Card to anyone. Your card may contain a computer chip or radio with antenna as well as the magnetic stripe. Misuse, abuse or alteration of the card may render these features inoperable. Your UB Card must not be altered in any way. Holes may not be punched nor cut in the card. Replacements for altered cards will be reissued at the cardholder's expense. This fee will not be waived. It is the cardholder's responsibility to prevent damage to their UB Card.
CARD USAGE. For customers traveling out of the country we require the following: • You agree to notify the Card Services Department of the time frame you will be traveling out of the country and the destination. By doing so, the Bank will have knowledge that international transactions should be expected on your account and the Bank will grant such transactions to take place during said time frame. • Be prepared with additional forms of payment in the event that foreign ATM networks are not accessible with your Card. Please contact the Card Services Department at (000) 000-0000 if you have any questions. Our policy is to post and pay Card transactions in the order they are received. We reserve the right to pay Card transactions before checks and other items.
CARD USAGE. The Card can be used for goods and services anywhere Visa® debit cards are accepted within the United States. Except for telephone orders, PIN/Point-of-Sale transactions or online purchases, you must sign for your purchases. The Card cannot be used to make preauthorized payments. If you permit someone else to use your Card, we will treat this as if you have authorized this person to use your Card and you will be responsible for any transactions initiated by such person with your Card, with or without your knowledge. Additional value cannot be added to the Card. The amount available on your Card will be reduced by the amount of any purchase transaction or Fee assessed. If you use the Card for a transaction greater than the remaining balance, you must tell the merchant before completing the transaction. The merchant will require a different payment method for the excess. Should you be given credit greater than the balance on your Card, you agree to pay us on demand the amount which exceeded the Card balance. The use of your Card to purchase goods and services constitutes a simultaneous withdrawal of the funds available on the Card, even though transactions may not actually be posted until a later date. The Card is not a credit card. You do not have the right to stop payment on any transaction originated by use of your Card. Resale of the card is strictly prohibited.
CARD USAGE. The customer can use the Card wherever it is accepted to make purchases save and except for the payment of insurance premiums and for any other purpose the Bank may authorize from time to time. The Customer can obtain cash advances from financial institutions that accept the Card and at any Automated Teller Machine (ATM) displaying the VISA/PLUS symbols by using the card along with your Personal Identification Number. The Bank will not be liable if a business, merchant or ATM does not accept your Card for any reason. The Card can only be used for legal transactions and the card will always be subject to statutory restrictions or regulations imposed by the Central Bank of The Bahamas. The Customer acknowledges and accepts that any transaction which the Bank considers to be illegal or in breach of any statutory or regulatory procedure could be declined. This card may not be used for standing order transactions. This card may not be used to defray expenses of foreign life and endowment assurance policies or to purchase capital items abroad, other than in instances where The Central Bank has given its approval. The laws of The Commonwealth of The Bahamas apply to this Prepaid Card. Only Bahamian citizens and residents may purchase and use this card. Bank Fees Refer to the Banks Schedule of Fees and Charges. Government Stamp Tax: All transactions are subject to Government Stamp Tax. Withdrawal of US Dollars from local ATMs is strictly prohibited. Foreign Currency The Bank’s Prepaid Card is a Bahamian Dollar based card. If a transaction is made in a foreign currency, the currency will be converted . Customer Service/ Balance Inquiries To check the available balance on the Prepaid Card, review recent transactions, or obtain any other customer service, you may visit any Bank of The Bahamas Limited Branch or call (000) 000-0000 between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m., every day of the week (including Sundays and public holidays). You may also call 0-000-000-0000. Balances will only be available in Bahamian Dollars (BSD). *ATM: Withdrawal of US dollars from local ATM’s is strictly prohibited. CARD USAGE. The card is a prepaid card. The card allows you to access funds loaded or deposited into your card account. The card is not a credit card. You will not receive any interest on the funds in your card Account. Your funds will never expire, regardless of the expiration date on the front of your card. You understand that Xxxxxx Bank cards are protected by the requirement that the cardholder - named on the card- shall insert his/her PIN (as defined hereinafter) before any transaction being authorized on the card account. Therefore, the person named on the card shall be the only person using it for any transaction whatsoever. You shall not allow any person to use your card unless such use is allowed under these Terms and Conditions. You shall be solely responsible for safeguarding the cards and the PIN against any unauthorized use, and as such, you shall be liable for any transaction that may be concluded using your card details and PIN regardless of whether or not you are actually the person making the transaction. You shall have no right to request any reimbursement or a refund of any transaction that you may claim to be made on your card account by any other person as any transaction will be deemed to be made by you so long as the cards details and PIN were used for such a transaction to be concluded. You understand the risks associated with giving possession of the card or disclosing the PIN, to any other person and you agree to bear any and all consequences if you decided to do so. The use of any card issued by Xxxxxx Bank shall be subject to, and conditional upon, the full adherence by you to all the instructions and guidelines issued by VISA or Mastercard as amended from time to time (the "Guidelines"). By signing this Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Guidelines and undertake to adhere to each term thereto as may be amended from time to time.
CARD USAGE. The Cardholder may use the Card to (a) obtain cash or redeem the value of the Card; (b) inquire into the balance of the Card’s current value; (b) pay bills over-the-counter OTC) at any Branch of the Bank, or through the ATMs of the Bank or other ATM Network Participants; (c) pay for goods and services of accredited merchants through POS Terminals; (d) transfer funds through the Inter-Bank Fund Transfer facility (IBFT) and the Multi-Channel Payment Gateway (MCPG) of BancNet; and (e) access such other facilities that the Bank may offer in the future to the Cardholder with the use of the Card, at any online payment facility, ATM, or POS Terminal . The Cardholder shall be accountable for all the transactions made using the Card.
CARD USAGE. The Card can be used at designated locations throughout the world to purchase goods and services and to obtain cash advances. The Bank is not responsible for the refusal of anyone to honor the Card. You are responsible for any use of your account by an authorized user or anyone else that you permit to use your account. You must notify the Bank if you want them to stop using your account. You are responsible for getting any cards, checks or other means of accessing your account from the authorized user. If you wish to terminate an authorized user, the Bank may close your account and open a new account with a different account number.
CARD USAGE. 1.1. The Cardholder should sign on the signature panel on the reverse of the Card immediately upon receipt of the Card.
1.2. Any Transaction supported by electronic log or the imprint of the Card are presumed a genuine Transaction unless the Card Statement proven otherwise, irrespective of the signature being present or not on the Transaction slip.
1.3. The expiration date of the Card is identified on the front of the Card.
1.4. The Card will remain the property of the Bank and must be surrendered upon demand. The Card is nontransferable and it may be canceled, repossessed or revoked at any time without prior notice.
1.5. The Bank’s business days are Sunday through Thursday, excluding Official holidays.
1.6. The Cardholder should read this Agreement carefully and keep it for future reference.
1.7. The Bank is not responsible for any damages arising as a result of malfunction of any ATMs, or other electronic devices.
1.8. The safety and safekeeping of the Card and its related PIN is the sole responsibility of the Cardhold- er. Any Transaction performed on the ATM or where a PIN entry is necessary shall be deemed to be performed by the Cardholder himself.
1.9. The Cardholder may use his / her Card to Deposit Cash.
1.10. The Cardholder undertakes not to use the Card directly or indirectly for any illegal activities and/or for money laundering or financing of terrorism.
CARD USAGE. The Seller cannot guarantee the usability and functioning of the Card at all times. The Card can only be used as a payment instrument at the Seller’s filling stations, unless otherwise notified separately by the Seller. The Card may only be used to pay for purchases of road fuel gas. Using the Card and the PIN at automated fuel dispensers shall be equal to accepting the purchase transaction. The Customer must retain the purchase receipt. The Seller shall have the right to prevent the usage of the Card if:
i. the safety of Card usage has been jeopardized;
ii. there is reason to suspect that the Card is used in an unauthorized or fraudulent manner; or
iii. the risk of the Customer being unable to fulfil its payment obligations has increased according to the Seller’s assessment.
