Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. Contractor shall keep the Power Plant Site and such other portions of the Facility Site on which Contractor is performing services hereunder clean, and if necessary in order to do so, shall perform a daily site clean-up, and shall otherwise keep such site free from accumulation of petroleum, waste materials (including, without limitation, waste water and waste chemicals from any chemical cleaning, and any waste Hazardous Materials brought to the Site by Contractor or its Subcontractors), rubbish and other debris resulting from performance of the Services. On or before Project Completion, Contractor shall remove from the Facility Site all petroleum, waste materials (including, without limitation, waste water and waste chemicals from any chemical cleaning and any waste Hazardous Materials brought to the Site by Contractor or its Subcontractors), rubbish and other debris resulting from the Services, as well as all tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus material to which Owner does not hold title, and shall leave the Power Plant Site and such other portions of the Facility Site on which Contractor performed Services hereunder in a neat, clean and usable condition. On or before Project Completion, Contractor shall remove, transport and dispose of any Hazardous Material transported onto the Facility Site by Contractor or any Subcontractor, or created as part of Contractor's or any Subcontractor's activities at the Facility Site. All cleanup and disposal shall be conducted in accordance with all Applicable Laws and Applicable Permits. Contractor shall notify Owner immediately upon the discovery of the presence of any Hazardous Material on, or the release of Hazardous Material on or from, the Facility Site, and shall proceed in accordance with Sections 2.1.7 and 12.12 hereof in connection therewith.
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. Contractor shall dispose of all surplus materials procured or used by Contractor or Subcontractors in the course of performance of the TTMS Work in compliance with all Laws. Contractor shall generally keep the TTMS Work Site free from accumulation of waste materials, rubbish and other debris related to the TTMS Work Site in accordance with the Standard of Care. On or before the date of Xxxx Ex Final Completion, Contractor shall remove from the TTMS Work Site all waste materials, rubbish and other debris related to the TTMS Work, as well as Contractor’s and Subcontractors’ other tools, construction equipment, machinery testing equipment and surplus material to which neither Concessionaire nor the Design-Builder holds title, and shall leave the TTMS Work Site in a neat, clean and usable condition. All cleanup and waste disposal shall be conducted in accordance with the Standard of Care, Laws, Applicable Standards and the Xxxx Ex Design-Build Contract or the Comprehensive Agreement. No materials shall be disposed of on or at the Project Right of Way. Contractor’s obligations under this Section 2.1.16 shall include removal and disposal of all temporary Utility facilities, all temporary buildings, structures, equipment and installations associated with the TTMS Work which Concessionaire does not wish to retain and all Hazardous Substances associated with performance of the TTMS Work, but shall not include removal or disposal of Hazardous Substances for which Contractor is not responsible pursuant to Section 2.1.17.

Contractor shall dispose of all water, soil, rock, gravel, sand, minerals, timber and other materials developed, obtained or excavated by Contractor or Subcontractors in the course of performance of the DB Work in compliance with all Laws. Contractor shall generally keep the Project Right of Way free from accumulation of waste materials, rubbish and other debris related to the DB Work in accordance with the Standard of Care. On or before the date of Final Acceptance, Contractor shall remove from the Project Right of Way all waste materials, rubbish and other debris related to the DB Work, as well as Contractor’s and Subcontractors’ other tools, construction equipment, machinery testing equipment and surplus material to which Concessionaire does not hold title, and shall leave the Project Right of Way in a neat, clean and usable condition. All cleanup and waste disposal shall be conducted in accordance with the Standard of Care, Laws, Applicable Standards, the Technical Requirements, this Agreement and the other Contract Documents. No materials shall be disposed of on or at the Project Right of Way. Contractor’s obligations under this Section
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. Contractor shall at all times keep the Facility Site in safe condition and shall remove waste materials, rubbish and other debris resulting from the performance of the Work at reasonable intervals. Contractor shall, in compliance with Applicable Laws, remove, transport and dispose of any Hazardous Material transported onto the Facility Site by or on behalf of Contractor or any Subcontractor, or created, used or handled as part of the Work at the Facility Site. Contractor shall notify Client immediately upon the discovery of the presence of any Hazardous Material on, or the release of Hazardous Material on or from, the Facility Site and following such discovery shall take no action to disturb or move such Hazardous Material without the written approval of Client. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Contractor shall not be responsible for the transportation, handling, storage or removal of any Hazardous Materials which existed at, on or in the Facility Site prior to commencement by Contractor of the Work.
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. Contractor shall keep the power project site reasonably clean and otherwise free from accumulation of waste materials, rubbish and other debris resulting from performance of the EPC Contractor‟s obligations. Contractor shall be maintained project site at hygienic standards and shall be kept reasonably free from debris, litter and malodour on or before Final Performance Acceptance. The EPC Contractor shall remove from the power plant site area all petroleum, waste materials, rubbish and other debris, as well as all tools, construction equipment, machinery and surplus material which the Client does not hold title, and shall make the power plant area in a neat, clean and usable condition. The EPC Contractor shall remove, transport and dispose-off hazardous material transported into the power plant site or any subcontractor or created, used or handled as part of contractor‟s or any subcontractor‟s construction activities at the power plant site. The EPC Contractor shall notify Purchaser immediately upon the discovery of presence of any hazardous material on, or the release of hazardous material on or from, the power plant site. All clean up and disposal activities of contractor (including, without limitation, the transportation and disposal of any hazardous materials taken from the power plant site) shall be conducted in accordance with all Applicable Laws and Applicable Permits. All these shall be applicable during the O&M period also in mutatis mutandis.
A. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. 3.7.1 The Contractor shall be responsible for keeping the entire area allocated to him clean and free from accumulation of waste Materials, rubbish/debris/etc. at all times during the period of Contract.
3.7.2 All soil, filth or other matter of an offensive nature taken out of any excavation, trench, sewer, drain, cesspool etc shall not be deposited on the surface, but shall at once be carted away by the Contractor to some pit or place suitably arranged by him away from the site of work and approved by local authorities.
3.7.3 As a part of the work included in this Contract, the Contractor shall completely remove and satisfactorily dispose of all temporary works to the extent directed. He shall tear down and dispose off all temporary buildings, shall remove or grade, to the extent directed, all embankments or xxxxxx dams made for construction purposes shall remove all plant and equipment, shall satisfactorily dispose of all rubbish resulting from the operations under this Contract and shall do all work necessary to restore the territory embraced within the site of his operations to at least as good order and conditions as at the beginning of the work under this Contract.
3.7.4 With regards to solid waste management, Contractor shall comply with Notification dated 29- March-2016 (Published in Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Subsection (ii)) by Ministry of Environment, Forest & climate change, Govt of India.
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. The Turnkey Contractor shall keep all Facility Sites reasonably free from accumulation of waste materials, rubbish and other debris resulting from the performance of the Work. In accordance with the standards applicable to the Work under the Host Government Agreement and in accordance with Applicable Laws, the Turnkey Contractor shall remove, transport and properly dispose of any Hazardous Material transported onto the Facility Sites by or on behalf of the Turnkey Contractor or any Subcontractor or generated, created, used or handled as part of the Turnkey Contractor’s or any Subcontractor’s activities (including Petroleum leaks caused by events covered by the Turnkey Contractor’s warranties and guaranties under Section 11.1 at the Facility Sites. The Turnkey Contractor shall notify the MEP Participants immediately upon the discovery of the presence of any Hazardous Material on, or the release of Hazardous Material other than in compliance with Applicable Law on or from, the Facility Sites. The Turnkey Contractor shall, in addition, be responsible for the proper transportation, handling, storage, remediation or removal of any Hazardous Materials which existed at, on or in the Facility Sites prior to commencement by the Turnkey Contractor of the Work.
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. During the performance of the Work, Contractor shall keep the Construction Site and any other area utilized by Contractor, Subcontractors or Contractor-Managed Subcontractors during construction clean and free from accumulations of waste materials, (other than Hazardous Materials, which are addressed in Section 2.13) rubbish, surplus materials and other debris resulting from the Work. As part of the Work, in accordance with Owners’ Site Rules, Contractor will remove such rubbish, surplus materials, waste materials and other debris on a regular basis, or as may otherwise reasonably be required by Owners, and dispose of the same in accordance with this Agreement and applicable Laws.
Clean-Up and Waste Disposal. 1. All walks and other paved areas shall be vacuumed, swept, squeegeed or blown off while the mowing, edging or trimming is in process so that the appearance suffers for the least amount of time.
2. Landscape lighting shall be wiped, blown off or vacuumed as needed to prevent accumulation of clippings and dead insects.
3. Landscape areas shall be raked and cleaned of clippings, leaves, sticks, twigs and all litter each time the soft edge is done.
4. Grass clippings or debris caused by mowing will be removed from the adjacent walkways, driveways, roadways, gutters and curbs or surfaces on the same day as turf is mowed.
5. Clippings, mulch or other plant debris must be prevented from entering water features or drains. In the event that this occurs, the materials shall be removed immediately.
6. The Provider shall be responsible for proper waste disposal. The City will not provide a means to dispose of waste produced by any of the services described herein.
7. All equipment must be cleaned before and after each use with water at a high pressure so as to not cross pollinate seeds within parks and grass species. All field maintenance schedules must be reviewed and approved by the City Manager or his/her designee. Accommodations shall be made to allow for special events.
