DAILY GUARANTEES. Watchmen reporting to work as ordered shall receive a minimum of eight (8) hours’ work or pay at the prevailing rate unless they quit or are discharged for cause; in which case, they shall be paid for actual time worked. Accompanying the obligation placed upon the Employer to furnish eight (8) hours of work is the obligation on the part of the men to shift from one assignment to another for the same Employer. DAILY GUARANTEES. Employees reporting at the hour designated for their scheduled day's work shall be guaranteed eight (8) hours work for that day unless they shall have been notified the previous day not to report the following day. Male employees ordered in for Saturdays shall be guaranteed four (4) hours work.

DAILY GUARANTEES. The three (3) hour daily guarantees shall apply whenever possible. The implementation of a daily guarantee will be reviewed on a regular basis by the National Air Committee to determine if Local conditions exist that would permit the Employer to provide for or adjust a daily guarantee. Further, the parties agree that in those areas that do not currently have a daily guarantee, the following procedure shall apply: If eighty percent (80%) of the employees reporting to a shift work three (3) or more hours for thirty (30) working days within a forty (40) day period, except for peak season, such shift shall be entitled to a three (3) hour guarantee. The Employer may also provide a higher daily guarantee to the extent it does not conflict with the overtime rules in the applicable Supplement, Rider or Addendum.
DAILY GUARANTEES. Employees reporting for work at the regular starting time of their shifts, Monday through Friday, shall be afforded four (4) hours of work or pay, unless they are notified before the end of their previous shift not to report. On snow days or hazardous weather days, if an employee reports to work, and is working; and the Company closes the plant - the employee will receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay. This Article shall not apply when the Employer is unable to afford four (4) hours of work or less because of an Act of God or other emergency.
DAILY GUARANTEES. Each FTE (1.00) mechanic shall be guaranteed a minimum of eight (8) hours per day. Drivers shall receive a minimum daily guarantee as follows:
5.4.1 Drivers shall receive a daily minimum guarantee of two (2) hours for a morning run, two (2) hours for an afternoon run, and one-half (1/2) hour for pre-trip inspection, refueling and cleaning, for a total daily minimum guarantee of four and one-half (4- 1/2) hours.
5.4.2 In the event that there are an uneven number of morning runs and afternoon runs established by the Employer, drivers assigned only to a morning run or afternoon run shall receive the morning run or afternoon run guarantee in addition to one- half (1/2) hour for Pre-trip inspection, refueling and cleaning for a total daily minimum guarantee of two and one-half (2-1/2) hours. It is understood that a morning/afternoon route shall be established whenever possible.
5.4.3 Drivers shall be guaranteed a minimum of two (2) hours for a Midday Run (i.e. Pre- School), extended Day Run (i.e. Activity) or Extra Trip. In the event time is added to an AM or PM run, drivers will not be required to turn in their Midday Run (i.e. Pre-School), extended Day Run (i.e. Activity) or Extra Trip.
5.4.3.1 Non-school day Extra Trips shall be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) hours. The non-school day four (4) hour minimum shall apply to those drivers that bid an extra trip on a day that students are not in school at the district in which they drive their regular route.

C. When a vessel is working at a container terminal and a bus or van driver is required, the watchman will not be shifted to other work while the vessel is still working and there are also individuals to be transported on the terminal to and from
DAILY GUARANTEES. This is subject to the limitation imposed by Sections 401(a), (k), and (m) of the Internal Revenue Code and any other ap- plicable IRS and ERISA regulations.
