Overtime Rules. Overtime applies if any guests or vendors associated with the Client(s) Event have not completely vacated Wonderfly's event space or spaces by the end of their booking reservation. Vendor deliveries and pickups are to be within the date/time of permitted use hours. Deliveries and pick ups outside of these hours can be requested. Any delivery and pick-up outside of these hours that has not been agreed upon in writing between Wonderfly and the Client(s) will be charged 50% of hourly rate per hour or partial hour for these additional dates/hours. A $400 charge would also apply to any hour or partial hour overage used for the event beyond the specified rental time period and is deductible from the security deposit if funds are available. Any additional charges will be invoiced and are due upon receipt if funds are not available in the security deposit.
Overtime Rules a) The Employer shall endeavour to distribute extra shift overtime as fairly as practicable among full-time employees within a department provided the Employer considers such employees to be fully capable of performing the required overtime duties.
b) Where overtime is anticipated, the Employer will post the number of people, the skill sets required, and the corresponding pay rates.
c) The Employer may designate a total of fifteen (15) overtime shifts (i.e. five per crew) during each prime time period where all or part of a shift will be required to work. Such mandatory shifts will be scheduled in sequence, beginning with day shift, or as otherwise agreed by the parties. Employees shall not be compelled to work consecutive weekends. The Employer shall give two weeks’ notice of a mandatory overtime shift which shall be at least eight (8) hours in length and not longer than ten (10) hours.
d) No employee is permitted to work unauthorized overtime
e) During the annual shutdown, the Employer may give preference to those employees who volunteer for the most shifts provided those employees have the requisite skill, demonstrated ability, relevant experience, and attendance (per 11.12).
f) Nothing in this article shall require an employee to work in contravention of his bona-fide religious beliefs.
g) An employee may request to bank overtime worked at premium rates, up to a maximum of forty (40) hours. “Voluntary” overtime pay may be banked at the employee’s request, but not substituted for additional time off. “Mandatory” overtime may be banked at the employee’s request and taken as either payment or as additional banked time off, if adequate notice has been provided and will only be granted if operational requirements permit. The Employer will pay out all accumulated banked overtime accruals at each year-end, along with accumulated vacation accruals.

Overtime Rules. (1) There shall be no pyramiding or duplication of overtime or premium pay.
(2) Employees who work in excess of their regular scheduled working time shall not be sent home to equalize such overtime.
(3) Employees who work more than 15 minutes past the end of their regularly scheduled shift in any one day will be paid for one (1) hour at the applicable rate. Time worked over one (1) hour will be paid in 15 minute increments.
(4) The Company agrees that, over each calendar year, it will make a reasonable attempt to allocate overtime equally among employees within the same classification within which the overtime occurs. Overtime lists will be posted monthly. An employee working on a job shall be given first consideration if any overtime is needed to finish the job.
(5) If an employee is asked to work overtime and he does not so work, he shall be charged on the overtime chart for the amount of hours worked on that job by the employee who accepted the overtime.
(6) An employee shall be eligible for seventh (7th) day worked overtime rates only if such employee has worked and completed the sixth (6th) day in a work week. An employee who is absent a full shift or less without being excused during his regular work week will not be eligible for seventh (7th) day overtime rates and will not be eligible for sixth (6th) day overtime rates until such employee has worked forty (40) regular hours. An employee who takes an unscheduled vacation day (not approved and on the posted schedule) during a week he/she is scheduled to work seven (7) days, will not be eligible for seventh (7th) day overtime rates.
(7) When overtime is available within a classification, everyone in that classification should be called prior to offering the overtime to anyone outside the classification.
Overtime Rules. 1. A Clerk must work overtime when requested by the Building Principal in the event of emergencies as determined by the Building Principal or to perform duties which routinely require overtime.
2. The Building Principal shall make a good-faith effort to equalize the benefits and burdens of overtime work insofar as such equalization is practicable and in the best interest of the School Department.
3. A Clerk may, with the unit member’s Building Principal’s approval, elect to take compensatory time instead of time and one-half payment. Such compensatory time shall not exceed eight (8) hours per month.
4. A Clerk working out of job classification for overtime purposes shall receive the time and one-half rate of payment at the beginning rate of the new job classification or the next highest rate whichever is higher than the regular rate of the unit member. Overtime Rules. Subd.
1. The employee will be paid at the rate of time and one half for all work in excess of eight (8) hours on a five (5) day work week schedule, or ten (10) hours on a four (4) day work week schedule. A minimum of two (2) hours computed on a time and one half basis will be paid for each employee when recalled to work:
a. Two hours of overtime will be paid to the employee for a call back to convert a burner from gas to oil.
b. Two hours of overtime will be allowed the employee for week end and holiday checks required by the Employer.
c. Overtime is authorized for emergencies required to protect the building (example: a broken water line) without prior authorization. In all cases of such overtime requirement, the employee's supervisor shall be notified as soon as practical.
2. Predicted overtime will be offered first to the employees normally assigned to the site where the overtime work will be in order of seniority on a rotating basis. Should none of the on-site employees wish to work the overtime; the overtime will be offered to employees in other buildings. In the event no employee has accepted the offer of predicted overtime, the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds or designee may assign an employee to work the activity.
Overtime Rules. To ensure compliance with the requirements of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission’s Fatigue Management Regulatory Document, which forms part of the Company’s licensing basis, employees who would be in violation of the CNSC requirements should they be called in for overtime, will be bypassed. In the event that it is not possible to fill an overtime shift after offering it to all employees who are not in violation of the Fitness for Duty requirements and the employer still requires the overtime to be filled, the shift shall be offered in the normal manner to those who have not been offered the shift. The employer confirms that the Fitness for Duty Guidelines in Appendix B represent the current guidelines followed by the employer. Should the Regulator make changes, which require amendments to the Guidelines in Appendix B, the employer will meet with the Union within ten (10) days of the date upon which the Employer was informed of the changes to meaningfully consult with the Union and to reasonably consider any input from the Union prior to any implemented changes. The Union reserves the right to grieve such changes.
Overtime Rules. 1. On the one day each week which is called down day (currently Saturday from 7am – to Sunday at 7am) the following procedure shall apply for overtime.
a) The night shift on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday will not be eligible for the day shift (7-3pm or 7-7pm) on Saturday of each week.
b) The Sunday shift from 7am-7pm will not be eligible for the preceding Saturday 7pm to 7am Sunday of each week.
c) Only the other three (3) shifts will be eligible for the down day overtime & it will be administered in the following manner:
i) Saturday day shift which includes the 7am – 3pm day shift as well as the 7am – 7pm Saturday shift. The employees who are
ii) If the overtime is on the Saturday 3-11pm shift, 11-7am shift or 7-7am shift then the same procedure as i will apply except that the employees will come from the scheduled employees who were working the 7pm-7am shifts Sunday to Friday.
iii) Any open positions not filled by the scheduled crews as outlined in i & ii will be filled by the regular weekend overtime rule of the lowest hours provided they are qualified & have signed the weekend overtime list.
Overtime Rules. Regular full and part-time employees who have agreed to work innovative work schedules of nine (9), ten (10), or twelve (12) hour shifts will be paid overtime beyond the innovative shift lengths per the respective contract addendums. If an employee agrees to work additional shifts of any length beyond their FTE, overtime shall be paid after eight (8) hours. Employees who have agreed to work “variable shifts”, i.e. a scheduled pattern of any combination of shift lengths, shall be paid overtime beyond the scheduled shift length. If an employee agrees to work additional shifts of any length beyond their FTE, overtime shall be paid after eight (8) hours. Employees who work eight (8) hour shifts and agree to work additional shifts of any length hours will be paid overtime after eight (8) hours. Temporary part time employees will be paid overtime after working eight (8) hours when working a shift of any length. If a temporary part time employee agrees to work another employee’s scheduled innovative shifts for longer than one (1) week, overtime will be paid after the shift length. Examples of such situations include covering a planned absence, medical leave, etc.
