Higher Duty Allowance. School Support Employees
(i) Where an employee is directed by the employer (as defined) to temporarily perform the duties of an employee with a higher classification for a period of ten (10) working days or more, that employee shall be paid an allowance equal to the difference between the employee's own salary and the minimum salary of the higher position.
(ii) Where an employee continues to perform the higher duties as provided for in paragraph (i) of this subclause, for a period of more than twelve
Higher Duty Allowance. Teachers
(i) Where an employee accepts an offer to temporarily perform the duties of an employee in a Position of Responsibility (POR) for a period of ten (10) working days or more, that employee shall be paid an allowance equal to the difference between the employee's own salary and the minimum salary of the higher position.
(ii) Where an employee receiving an allowance under paragraph (i) of this subclause, proceeds on approved paid leave, other than parental leave, the employee will continue to receive that allowance.
Higher Duty Allowance. Where an employee performs the duties of a higher position, in the absence of the employee normally performing in that position for more than five consecutive days, they shall be entitled to a higher duties allowance for the full period of the absence. The allowance payable shall be the difference between the current salary of the employee acting in the higher position, and the minimum salary the employee would receive if appointed to that position.
Higher Duty Allowance. 10.2.1 The higher duties allowance payable shall be paid at a 10% premium of the employee’s salary, where the full duties of the higher position are undertaken, or a pro-rata premium where the full duties are not undertaken.
10.2.2 To qualify for payment of a higher duties allowance, an employee must perform the duties of the higher position for at least three consecutive days.
Higher Duty Allowance. 15.3.1 Where an employee is required to undertake a higher duty assignment for a complete day, the employee shall be paid a daily allowance, which is calculated at 2.5 times the daily salary differential between the two positions, for Acting Up in the higher position.
15.3.2 Where an employee is required to perform the duties of the OIM the employee will be paid at a rate that takes into account the current OIM salary, the extra responsibilities of the position and their experience.
Higher Duty Allowance. Teachers
78.1 Where an Employee accepts an offer to temporarily perform the duties of an Employee in a Position of Leadership (POL) for a period of ten (10) working days or more, that Employee shall be paid an allowance equal to the difference between the Employee's own salary and the minimum salary of the higher position.
78.2 Where an Employee receiving an allowance under subclause 78.1, proceeds on approved paid leave, other than parental leave, the Employee will continue to receive that allowance, provided that the duties continue after the period of such leave.
Higher Duty Allowance. Higher duty allowance will be paid where a team member who is designated a skilled Grade 4 operator and is required to operate at a higher grade. The higher duty allowance will be paid for the period worked at the higher grade.
Higher Duty Allowance. If an employee is required to relieve a Production Supervisor he or she shall be paid a higher duty allowance of $82.00 per day for each day of higher duty from the operative date specified in paragraph 6.
Higher Duty Allowance. Under the existing classification structure employees are given opportunities to train and develop in the skills of higher classifications. This -means that employees need to act and work in higher duties for short periods of time to prepare themselves for future positions. No payment will be payable for development periods. Where not in a training mode and an employee is appointed by the company to act in a higher role, for more than two hours during one shift, shall be paid the higher rate for such shift.
