Driving Allowance. Suitably qualified team members required to drive trucks between off-site reserves and stores shall be paid an additional amount of 66 cents per hour, whilst engaged on driving duties, to a maximum of $24.00 per week. A Retail Team Member who is permanently required to drive trucks between off-site reserves and stores, and is paid an allowance of $24.00 per week, shall be paid such an allowance whilst on Annual Leave.
Driving Allowance. (a) A driving allowance will be paid as amended by the Board from time to time but shall not be less than fifty cents ($0.50) per kilometre for the authorized use of employee-owned vehicles, provided that all driving for which payments made has been recorded in the employee’s written log. Where such kilometres exceed one thousand six hundred and nine point three (1,609.3) or such mileage exceed one thousand (1,000) thereby resulting in an insurance premium increase, the Board will pay the employee the amount of such increase.
(b) All persons driving their personal vehicle on Board business are covered by the Board’s insurance policy except where the employee exceeds sixteen hundred (1,600) kilometres in one (1) year while on Board business. In such cases, the employee shall purchase “business” insurance and shall submit the receipts to the Secretary Treasurer who shall reimburse the employee the difference between “to and from work” insurance and “business” insurance.
Driving Allowance. 33.01 A driving allowance per mile or its equivalent in kilometers shall be paid to those authorized employees traveling regularly between two or more work locations in accordance with Board Policy.
33.02 All active preventative maintenance and building maintenance employees required to provide his/her automobile for purposes of the Greater Essex County District School Board shall be paid a monthly allowance by the Board on a mileage basis in the performance of work from the first to the last date of the month calculated at the rate of $0.30 per kilometer or Board Policy, whichever is greater.
33.03 The reimbursement will be determined by monthly tally/mileage sheets which will indicate the date and location of travel, and total kilometers traveled. Preventative maintenance staff will complete the sheets monthly and forward them to their immediate supervisor for verification and approval.
33.04 In addition to the allowance identified under 33.02 above for preventative maintenance and building maintenance employees, the Board will pay the difference, excluding surcharge as a result of accidents or convictions, in the premium rate for insurance on the employee’s automobile up to the following maximum limits: • Public Liability and Property Damage - $1,000,000 limit • Collision - $100 deductible
33.05 Notwithstanding the above, such employees will be required to provide three written estimates of insurance, with one estimate from an agent of the Board’s choice. The Board will only be required to reimburse to the lowest estimate.
Driving Allowance. The following definition shall apply to the Driver Grades specified in Table 3 of Part 5 of this Agreement and workers shall be paid their total weekly wage according to the driver appointment held, provided that a total weekly wage appropriate to Driver Grade One shall only be payable to workers in brigades that operate a Grade One vehicle.

Driving Allowance. Staff members who are required by the Company to drive vehicles shall be paid the following allowances:
(a) $40 per month for staff members who drive vehicles or stackers of which the unladen weight does not exceed 2500 kilograms.
(b) $80 per month for staff members who drive vehicles or forklifts of which the unladen weight exceeds 2500 kilograms, or who does engine towing within the Company’s premises.
(c) $140 per month for staff members who drive vehicles of which the unladen weight exceeds 2500 kilograms up to 7250 kilograms.
(d) $200 per month for staff members who drive engine trailers.
Driving Allowance. Where an Employee (other than a Motor Vehicle Driver or Truck & Ambulance Driver) is required to drive a vehicle as a core duty of their position they will be entitled the relevant Driving Allowance as set out in item 8 of Schedule 2.
Driving Allowance. In addition to any allowance paid under sub-clause 2.1 above, where a suitably qualified team member is required to drive trucks between an Offsite Reserve or Multi Offsite Reserve and stores, the team member shall be paid a driving allowance, while engaged on driving duties, in accordance with the following table. Junior team members will receive the applicable percentage of the weekly allowance rate (pro rata) in accordance with the percentages contained in sub-clause 5.1.3 of this Agreement.
