Dues Deduction Authorized. A. The school district shall deduct from the salaries of teachers, such monies for the exclusive representative as said teachers individually authorize for the school district to so deduct. Commencing in September and each month thereafter, the school district shall deduct in equal installments the monies that the teacher has agreed to pay the exclusive representative during the period provided in the individual’s authorization. New authorizations, when received by the school district during the school year, will be deducted in equal installments over the remaining monthly payments of the teacher’s current contracted salary.
Dues Deduction Authorized. Upon written authorization of a teacher within the bargaining unit, the District shall deduct from the pay of the teacher the monthly amount of dues as certified by the Secretary of the Association and shall deliver the dues to the Treasurer of the Local Association. The Association's membership application form will serve as the recognized authorization form. The Association shall certify the amount of the annual dues to be deducted. Those wishing to have dues deducted from salaries in equal installments shall notify the District Clerk prior to the first pay day of the current school year. Any teacher hired after the school year begins shall have five (5) weeks to make this same notification. Dues deduction authorizations received during the school year will be prorated over the remaining payments of the employee's current salary.
Dues Deduction Authorized. The College agrees to deduct from the pay of Association employees the dues for MFPE, AFT, NEA and the FVCC Adjunct Faculty upon receipt from the Union of authorization by each employee and as provided by law.

The District agrees to deduct in ten (10) equal installments from the salaries of all employees such monies for annual unified membership dues of the Montana Federation of Public Employees, MFPE, and the Beaverhead Education Association, as well as other Association contributions as individually authorized by the employee using the Association’s membership or other written authorization as submitted by the employee to the District. Deductions for employees who submit their authorizations to the District after October 1st shall be prorated so that the full amount authorized is deducted, in equal payments, by the end of the school year.

Non-Association members may authorize the deduction of the representation fee in this same manner.

The District shall deliver the dues to the treasurer of the exclusive representative. The Union as exclusive representative of all employees will represent such persons fairly, whether members or not. Non-association members may authorize the deduction of the professional representation fee in this same manner.

The District agrees to deduct in ten (10) equal installments from the salaries of all employees such monies for annual unified membership dues of the National Education Association, MEA-MFT, and the Beaverhead Education Association, as well as other Association contributions as individually authorized by the employee using the Association’s membership or other written authorization as submitted by the employee to the District. Deductions for employees who submit their authorizations to the Board after October 1st shall be prorated so that the full amount authorized is deducted, in equal payments, by the end of the school year.

This shall be done on a ten (10) month basis beginning in November for traditional calendar and in October for extended calendar schools.
