ECTS credits. The degree program for the Master of Science degree (respectively degree of Diplomin- genieur at KLU-WiInf, Magister Inżynier at PUT-FCSM) comprises 120 ECTS credits.

ECTS credits. The DD Program joining the degree of Multimedia Communication and Information Technology at the University of Udine and the degree of Information and Communications Engineering at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt comprises 120 ECTS credits. The semesters of the master’s program spent at either home or host institution shall be fully recognized. The examinations of the courses taken at the host institution, considered as equivalent to examinations taken at the home institution, are specified below (section 2). For each exam, the grading achieved at the host institution shall be converted by the home institution according to the ECTS grading scale defined by the European Commission. Students have to acquire at least 30 ECTS at the host institution. At most 60 ECTS acquired at the host institution can be recognized for the degree program at the home institution. Upon successful fulfillment of the conditions set forth in this agreement the students of the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt shall be awarded the degree “Diplom-Ingenieurin” or “Diplom-Ingenieur” and the legal effects of the degree “Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx” (Multimedia Communications and Information Technology) of the University of Udine. Upon successful fulfilment of the conditions set forth in this agreement the students of the University of Udine shall be awarded the degree “Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxxxx” and the legal effects of the degree “Diplom-Ingenieurin” or “Diplom-Ingenieur” of the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt.
ECTS credits. The Freie Universitat Berlin uses the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) which is a workload-based system for measuring and comparing study results. The student is awarded a certain number of ECTS credits for each course which reflects the workload necessary to successfully complete a course. Credits are awarded only when the student has fulfilled the course requirements, for example regular attendance. The credits are allocated by the individual departments in accordance with the standard workload determined by the respective study and examination regulations whereby one credit equals 30 hours of study. Please note that the Student Exchange Office refrains from prescribing a standard workload per semester. ECTS credits. Participants who successfully pass an examination at the end of a Training Course receive a certificate of satisfactory completion, which includes an estimate of the number of European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS credits) attached to the Training Course. However, SIB does not award ECTS credits; only the student’s home University can decide on the number of credits to be validated.
