Employer/Union Meetings. (a) In the event that neither party wishes to call a meeting of Labour/Management Committee, or any other face to face meeting with the Employer, the meeting shall be held at a place fixed by mutual agreement as soon as reasonably possible. Upon request being made, both parties shall state the names of the members who will attend. When possible, five (5) days notice shall be given.

Employer/Union Meetings. Section 1. Union President, or Designee, may schedule meeting(s) between Union representative(s) and management official(s) of the Employer on appropriate subjects of general interest to employees. The Union shall inform management officials of the purpose of the meeting.

Employer/Union Meetings. 7.01 During the term of this Collective Agreement, the Employer agrees to meet with a Committee of the Union consisting of not more than three (3) employee representatives, at least once every three (3) months, or at such other times as the parties may agree. Employer/Union Meetings. (a) A Labour-Management Relations Committee shall be established within two months of the signing of this Collective Agreement. The Committee shall consist of three (3) representatives of the Employer and three (3) representatives of the Union. The Committee shall receive the full support of both parties to this agreement in the interest of improving labour-management relations. The Committee shall meet to discuss issues of mutual concern to the parties, but it is understood and agreed that the Committee will not discuss grievances. The Committee will define problems, develop viable solutions to such problems and recommend proposed solutions to the parties. The Committee shall meet at least once a year, or otherwise when mutually agreed. An agenda of the matters to be discussed will be circulated at least three (3) days in advance of the meeting. Employees who are scheduled to work at the time of the meeting shall request time off to attend the meeting. Such time off will be granted, subject to operational requirements. The Employer agrees to pay the employee at their regular straight time rate provided they are scheduled to work during the meeting. Employees off duty at the time of the meeting will be not paid for their attendance. If an employee is required to travel to attend the meeting, the Employer will pay travel in accordance with Article 25.

  • Union Meetings The Employer recognizes the Union's interest in keeping its members informed and aware of its activities through regular union meetings. The Employer may approve the use of the agency facilities to hold union meetings. Union meetings, including general and/or committee(s) meetings, held on employer premises will not interfere with the operation of the Employer.

  • Association Meetings The Association shall have the right to use school facilities for meetings without cost after the regular students’ school day.

  • Labour Management Meetings The committee meeting shall normally be held every second month however, either party may call a meeting of the Joint Labour Management Committee. The meeting shall be held at a time and place fixed by mutual agreement but no later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial request, unless mutually agreed.

  • Negotiation Meetings 1. Negotiation meetings will be scheduled at the request of the parties and, until negotiations are concluded, either party may require at each meeting a decision on the date, time, and place of a subsequent meeting.

  • Open Meetings (a) All scheduled meetings of the Employer shall be open meetings, except in those cases where personnel, financial or other matters require that the meeting be considered confidential.

  • Informal Meetings The Engineer shall provide technical assistance, preparation of exhibits for, and minutes of informal meetings requested by the public to discuss the pending impacts to neighborhoods and businesses due to roadway shutdowns, detours and access restrictions or as deemed necessary. This is not to be confused with the formal public meetings held during the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process during schematic approval for Public Involvement. It is not anticipated that the Engineer’s participation will be needed for the NEPA process. Assistance (exhibits, attendance, etc.) may be required for a formal public meeting/hearing associated with schematic approval work.

  • Union/Management Meetings ‌ The Union Committee and the Senior Union Official of the Union, or her/his representative, shall, as occasion warrants, meet with the Committee on Labour Relations for the purpose of discussing and negotiating a speedy settlement of any grievance or dispute arising between the Employer and the employee concerned, including possible re-negotiations relative to this Agreement and the Schedules which are a part hereof. However, except for renegotiations of Agreements, these matters shall be introduced to such meetings only after the established grievance procedure has been followed. Grievances of a general nature may be initiated by a member of the Union Committee in step two of the grievance procedure outlined in Article 9.04.
