Statutory/Public Holidays. School boards shall ensure that within their local collective agreement terms, Family Day is included as a statutory/public holiday.

(a) Employees (other than casual Employees) are entitled to public holidays in accordance with the NES and any other day or part day declared or proclaimed by the Public Holiday Act 2010 (NSW) and are entitled to the following public holidays without loss of pay for ordinary rostered hours: As way of reference, public holidays may include the below: • 1 January (New Years Day); • 26 January (Australia Day); • Good Friday; • Easter Saturday • Easter Sunday; • Easter Monday; • 25 April (A.N.Z.A.C. Statutory/Public Holidays. All Gazetted Statutory (Public) Holidays shall be recognised as public holidays. Should an Employee be required to work on a Public Holiday, they will be paid at the overtime rate of Ordinary Time Loaded rate x 2.0 for all hours worked.
Statutory/Public Holidays. 4.6.1 All work undertaken by Employees (excluding Casual Employees) on a gazetted Public Holiday as appointed under the Holidays Act 1983 or a Show Holiday as notified in the Queensland Government Gazette shall be paid in accordance with clause 3.3 and the Employee shall be granted a substitute day in accordance with the Workplace Relations Act 1996, as a day off at another time/day as mutually agreed.
