LCOOCC general education/breadth courses in communications, social sciences, mathematics and natural science may transfer in to fulfill UW-Superior general education requirements in these areas. All UW-Superior general education core and knowledge category requirements not met by transfer credits must be completed. Major Courses. Completion of a program of study in a major with a GPA of at least 2.0 within the major program is required for graduation. Courses required to complete a major will depend on the major completed at Xxxxx State Community College and the major desired for the Bachelor of Arts degree at Bluffton and will be evaluated individually.

  • Training Courses 16.3.1 Training courses will be as described in the Seller’s customer services catalog (the “Seller’s Customer Services Catalog”).   • Required Courses When a supervisor requires an employee to take a course to update his/her knowledge in a field directly related to the employee's assigned duties, all costs associated with the course shall be paid by the department and the employee shall not be required to "make up" the time spent attending class. Each situation of this nature shall require the advance written approval of the college Xxxx or appropriate Vice President.

  • Curriculum Work Service on a District curriculum committee shall be required for grade level or department chairpersons. All other teachers working on such committee(s) shall be designated (in writing) by the Curriculum Director and shall be paid, at the hourly rate contained in Schedule B, for all documented hours of committee service (up to such limits as may be imposed by the District) occurring when school is not in session (e.g. during the summer), during duty-free lunch periods or preparation periods, and before/after the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day. Curriculum committee work shall occur at such times as are determined or approved by the Curriculum Director.

  • Union Activities If the Contract Amount is $50,000 or more, no Judicial Council funds received under this Agreement will be used to assist, promote or deter union organizing during the term of this Agreement (including any extension or renewal term).

  • Courses A. Any course that is contained within the common course numbering system shall be eligible if not specifically excluded by Florida Statute, State Board of Education Rule, District Board of Trustees Policy, or District Board of Education Policy. College-level courses including mathematics, English, science, foreign language, social sciences and social studies, vocational courses, and such other courses as may be mutually agreed upon shall be offered by the College for high school students participating in the program. To ensure transferability of credits, students’ educational plans should be closely evaluated when utilizing specialty courses for dual enrollment. To further ensure transferability, North Florida Community College encourages students to concentrate on general education courses. Students who intend to earn an associate in arts or baccalaureate degree should carefully evaluate each course to determine its applicability to meeting degree requirements.

  • Unsafe Work (a) An employee may exercise their right to refuse to do unsafe work pursuant to Section 3.12 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations outlined in Information Appendix B.
