Minimum Rates. Each employee who enters the ser- vice of the Company shall begin employment at the minimum wage rate for the appropriate job title and schedule, except that appropriate allowance over such minimum rate may be made by the Company for an em- ployee who has had previous experience or training con- sidered to be of value.

Minimum Rates. The parties to this Agreement shall from time to time agree minimum rates for writers which shall be reviewed annually. The minimum rates shall be the basis for calculating Fees payable to writers as set out below which shall be subject to individual negotiation between the BBC and the Writer or the Writer’s professional representative. 1.1 The minimum rate for established writers shall be £99.32 per minute where the Fee is for two Transmissions and £59.55 per minute where the Single Transmission Fee applies. The rate shall apply in respect of all Scripts specified in Clause 2 of this Agreement where the Writer has had 120’00 minutes of dramatic works covered by this Agreement transmitted on BBC radio provided that this has been achieved over more than at least two Plays, Dramatisations, Dramatised Features, Adaptations, Series or Long Running Series. 1.2 If a Writer has not yet fulfilled these criteria BBC can offer an agreed Fee of no less than £65.85 per minute as a beginner’s minimum rate, where the Fee is for two Transmissions and £39.50 per minute where the Single Transmission Fee applies.
Minimum Rates. Since arranging represents highly individual skills, the wages paid for arranging are left to the discretion of the person doing the work, provided, however, that the wages shall never be less than provided for in paragraph B.
Minimum Rates. The Minimum Rates enumerated in the Appendices to this Master Agreement are basic minimum scales and nothing in this Master Agreement shall prevent an Employer from paying the Employees a rate higher than these Minimum Rates, but no Employer will be obligated to pay more than the Minimum Rates without bargaining with an individual Employee for a higher rate and reaching an agreement to pay that Employee a higher rate.
Minimum Rates. The minimum rates of pay for the job classifications covered by this Agreement are set forth in the Schedule of Wages, which is attached and made a part of this Agreement. There shall be no lessening of wages or direct cost item fringe benefits now prevailing established by prior agreements and by past practice. Direct cost item fringe benefits are defined as meals, uniforms, holidays, vacations, parking and insured or funded fringe benefits.

Minimum Rates. All wage ranges, benefits and other economic provisions of this Agreement establish minimums, and nothing herein shall be deemed or construed to limit the Facility’s right to increase wage rates, benefits, premiums and differentials, and to pay other extra compensation at the Facility’s discretion in excess of those provided by this Agreement. Accordingly, it is also understood that any such increases shall be over and above the economic package negotiated under Article 13. Before taking any action, the Facility shall notify the Union and meet and confer over the proposed change.

Minimum Rates. Since arranging represents highly individual creative skills, the wages paid for arranging are left to the discretion of the person doing the work, provided, however, that the wages shall never be less than provided for in paragraph B(3). Arranging shall be paid for in addition to orchestrating where the same person performs the work of the two classifications. Payment for making and orchestrating an arrangement shall cover both the minimum for arranging and orchestrating.
