N on-Discrimination. Contractor shall not unlawfully discriminate against any qualified worker or recipient of services because of race, religious creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status or age.
N on-Discrimination. In the performance of AGREEMENT, CONTRACTOR agrees that it will comply with the requirements of Section 1735 of the California Labor Code and not engage nor permit any Subcontractors to engage in discrimination in employment of persons because of the race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, or sex of such persons. CONTRACTOR acknowledges that a violation of this provision shall subject CONTRACTOR to all the penalties imposed for a violation of Section 1720 et seq. of the California Labor Code.
N on-Discrimination. ORGANIZATION prohibits discrimination, harassment or bullying against any person because of age, ancestry, color, disability or handicap, national origin, race, religion, gender, sexual or affectional orientation, gender identity, appearance, matriculation, political affiliation, marital status, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law. ORGANIZATION expects that the Speaker shall maintain an environment free of discrimination, including harassment, bullying, or retaliation when and where ever those individuals are conducting ORGANIZATION business or participating in ORGANIZATION events or activities.
N on-Discrimination. Party shall not discriminate, and will prohibit its employees, agents, subcontractors, sub- grantees and other service providers from discrimination, on the basis of age under the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, on the basis of handicap under section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, on the basis of sex under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and on the basis of race, color or national origin under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Party shall not refuse, withhold from or deny to any person the benefit of services, facilities, goods, privileges, advantages, or benefits of public accommodation on the basis of disability, race, creed, color, national origin, marital status, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity as provided by Title 9 V.S.A.
N on-Discrimination. METRO and the Union agree that no employee shall be discriminated against on account of Union membership, non- membership, race, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, color, marital status, medical condition, or disability, or for any other unlawful reason, except where physical capability is a bona fide occupational qualification and reasonable accommodation as required by State and Federal Law cannot be made. The Union agrees to work with METRO Management to provide reasonable accommodation to an employee as may be required under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Seniority rules will continue to apply in any and all circumstances. This section of the Agreement shall not be construed to conflict with the employee qualification provisions appearing elsewhere in this Agreement.
N on-Discrimination. The provisions of C.G.S. sections 4a-60 and 4a-60a are hereby incorporated into this Agreement and the Administrator and Contractor mutually agree to be bound by all of the provisions contained therein.
N on-Discrimination. 2.1 The District and the Association agree that the provisions of this Agreement shall be applied without discrimination on the basis of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, marital status, sex or sexual orientation, membership in the Association or participation in the lawful activities of the Association.
2.2 No reprisals shall be taken against a unit member by reason of his/her participation in any procedure or activity provided for in this Agreement or in any existing District policy, rule or regulation.
2.3 No reprisals will be taken by Association members against non-Association bargaining unit members.
N on-Discrimination. During the performance of this Agreement, Contractor and its officers employees, agents, representatives or subcontractors shall not unlawfully discriminate in violation of any Federal, State or local law, rule or regulation against any employee, applicant for employment or person receiving services under this Agreement because of race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical or mental disability including perception of disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy related condition, marital status, gender/sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age (over 40), political affiliation or belief, or military and veteran status. Contractor and its officers, employees, agents, representatives or subcontractors shall comply with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations related to non-discrimination and equal opportunity, including without limitation the County’s non-discrimination policy; the Fair Employment and Housing Act (Government Code sections 12900 et seq.); California Labor Code sections 1101, and 1102; the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-352), as amended; and all applicable regulations promulgated in the California Code of Regulations or the Code of Federal Regulations.
N on-Discrimination. Grantee covenants and shall cause any recipient of Grant funds to covenant that it will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, or national or ethnic origin in its hiring of contractors to carry out any portion of the project funded by proceeds of the Grant. Grantee further covenants and shall cause any recipient of Grant funds to further covenant that it shall prohibit its contractors from engaging in such discrimination in the hiring of subcontractors to carry out any portion of the project funded by proceeds of the Grant.
N on-Discrimination. Both parties agree that in the performance of this Agreement, there will be no discrimination against any individual or groups on account of any Federal, State or Local law, regulation or rule, including but not limited to race, color, gender, sexual preference, religious creed, ancestry, disability, age or national origin. Receipt by either party of evidence of such discrimination shall be cause for termination.
