Non-accumulative. Personal leave authorized herein is not accumulative. Full time employees who have used no personal leave by June 30th of the current school year will be paid two hundred ($200) dollars at the end of the year. Full time employees who have used one day of personal leave shall be paid one hundred ($100) dollars at the end of the year. If two or more days are used, there will be no cash at the end of the year. Less than full time employees will be paid for unused personal leave on a pro-rata basis. Non-accumulative. When absence exceeds annual sick leave and the accumulated sick leave, the Board may pay any such person each day’s salary less the pay of a substitute, if a substitute is employed or the estimated cost of the employment of a substitute if none is employed, for such length of time as may be determined by the Board in each individual case. Each case shall be judged on its own relative merit. A day’s salary is defined as 1/200th of the annual salary.
