Non-accumulative. Rest periods are not accumulative and shall not be added to any meal times, vacation, or any other form of authorized absence from work.
Non-accumulative. Personal leave authorized herein is not accumulative. Full time employees who have used no personal leave by June 30th of the current school year will be paid two hundred ($200) dollars at the end of the year. Full time employees who have used one day of personal leave shall be paid one hundred ($100) dollars at the end of the year. If two or more days are used, there will be no cash at the end of the year. Less than full time employees will be paid for unused personal leave on a pro-rata basis. Personal leave shall be used in one (1) hour increments.
Non-accumulative. No remainder of leave days granted in this Section may be accredited or accumulated.
Non-accumulative. Non-accumulative additional sick leave benefits may be allowed to teachers, according to the following conditions:
a. Teachers may be granted two (2) additional sick days per school year.
b. Non-accumulative sick days will be granted only after the use of accumulative sick days.
Non-accumulative. When absence exceeds annual sick leave and the accumulated sick leave, the Board may pay any such person each day’s salary less the pay of a substitute, if a substitute is employed or the estimated cost of the employment of a substitute if none is employed, for such length of time as may be determined by the Board in each individual case. Each case shall be judged on its own relative merit. A day’s salary is defined as 1/200th of the annual salary.
Non-accumulative. All full-time employees shall be entitled to the following temporary non- accumulative leaves of absence each school year with full pay under the conditions listed:
Non-accumulative. Non-accumulative additional sick leave benefits shall be allowed to teachers as follows: The teacher may be given the difference between his pay and a substitute's pay for each sick day over and above the total accumulated sick days. In the event of refusal, reasons for same will be forwarded to the employee by the Board of Education in writing.
Non-accumulative. Any employee steadily employed who is absent from his/her post of duty as a result of personal injury caused by an accident arising out of and in the course of his/her employment, shall be paid full salary for the period of such absence for up to one
(1) calendar year without having such absence charged to the annual sick leave or the accumulated sick leave. Salary payments made pursuant hereto shall be made for absence during the waiting period and during the period the employee received or was eligible to receive temporary disability benefits under workmen's compensation law. Any amount of salary so paid to the employee shall be reduced by the amount of any workmen's compensation award made for temporary disability (N.J.S.A. 18A:30-2.1).
Non-accumulative. Non-accumulative additional days of sick leave benefits may be allowed to principals and supervisors upon recommendation of the Superintendent and approval of the Board. Non-accumulative sick days will be granted only after the use of all accumulated sick days.
Non-accumulative. At least five (5) days prior written notice must be given to the Superintendent or his designee.
