OFF PROCEDURE. 4.1 If the Authority or any Other Contracting Body decides to source any of the Goods and/or Services through the Framework Agreement, then it shall be entitled at any time in its absolute and sole discretion during the Framework Period to award Call Off Agreements for the Goods and/or Services from the Supplier by following Call off Schedule 5 (Call Off Procedure).
4.2 The Supplier shall comply with the relevant provisions in Call off Schedule 5 (Call Off Procedure).
OFF PROCEDURE. In the event of a reduction in the work force, lay-off shall commence with the employee with the least amount of total Departmentalseniority with the Fire Departmentwithin the job classification (rank) affected. Employees shall be given one month’s notice of lay-off. Ability and qualifications being sufficient, any employee so laid off shall be permitted to use total seniority with the Fire Departmentto displace an employeewith less seniority in a lowerjob grade. An employee who elects to use seniority, as in Article shall receive the rate of pay for the position so secured.

OFF PROCEDURE. In all cases of layoff, four (4) hours’ notice shall be given to the Union Office and Journeymen Sheet Metal Worker or Registered Apprentice. At the time of layoff, must be supplied with Record of Employment (XXX) and paid in full in accordance with this Agreement. If at the time of layoff the member has not been given payment and Record of Employment (XXX) as noted, shall be paid for four (4) straight time hours for any inconvenience. Payment and Record of Employment will be sent registered mail within two working days at the Employer’s expense.
OFF PROCEDURE. In the event of a proposed lay-off of a permanent or long term nature, the Home will provide the Union with at least weeks notice. This notice is not in addition to required notice for individual employees. In the event of a lay-off of a permanent or long term nature, the Home will provide affected employees with notice in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. However, the Employment Standards will be deemed to be amended to provide notice to the affected employee as follows: if service is greater than years weeks notice if service is greater than years weeks notice if service is greater than years weeks notice if service is greater than years weeks notice
OFF PROCEDURE. If a reduction in the work force becomes necessary, the following procedure will Employees in the affected will be laid off in reverse order to their listing in the List of Departments and Classifications of this Agreement. When such lay-offs take place, Employees retained shall perform their own job function in conjunction with the functions of Employees laid off in that Department. Seniority may be exercised only within the Employee's department. See Article
OFF PROCEDURE. When it is necessary to reduce the work force, the Company will advise the Union Committee as far in advance as possible, but not less than hours. The Company will give the Union Committee every opportunity to discuss the proposed reduction. If the Union Committee requests additional time, the Company may grant a further extension of the proposed action for hours. Transfer resulting from a shortage of work shall be made on the basis of mill seniority and ability. Senior employees shall have the right to in on bottom jobs which they are able to perform effectively. If lay-offs are decided upon, the employees with the least mill seniority shall be laid off, subject to the relative ability of the individuals available to do the work. Individuals on lay-off from the mill will retain such rights and privileges that are specifically noted in this Agreement. With the consent of both parties, the seniority provisions of this Agreement may be amended in order to accommodate an employee who has incurred a major disability. If agreement is reached in a specific case, the Company will make every effort to insure continuity of employment for the individual concerned. Generally in the case of a reduction in the work force, employees will be demoted step by step down their lines of progression (job seniority) in the reverse order of the steps in their promotions. Lay-offs from the Mill will be on a mill seniority basis, the last man in the Mill being the first man out provided that the remaining employees can meet the normal requirements of the work.

5.2 The Supplier shall comply with the relevant provisions in Framework Schedule 5 (Call Off Procedure).
OFF PROCEDURE. Implementation The Union agrees immediately upon ratification to assist in the implementation of the “two person all-off” process. OFF PROCEDURE. In the event of layoff, the Employer shall lay off employees in the reverse order of their seniority within their classification, provided that there remain on the job employees who have the ability and qualifications as required by law to perform the work.
