During all mooring and unmooring operations, shall be assisted by one other person at each station. In the event of a new joining the Company, he will receive on-board training another Officer who is familiar with the duties of the position being filled. The training will be performed during the existing normal work period. The existing will not be required to perform extra duty due to training. Officers Duties. SRO’s primary responsibility is to enforce federal, state, and local laws. This may include responding to calls for assistance, preventative patrol, making arrests, and conducting follow-up investigations on campus. SRO should be contacted for all on-campus responses; however, in the event of an emergency that requires additional officers or in the absence of SRO, the 911 reporting system should be utilized. SRO should maintain close liaison with campus personnel and be familiar with potential problems. SRO have discretion in enforcement action when a law is violated and have the final decision. The ultimate goal of SRO is to maintain a peaceful environment that allows the learning process to continue uninterrupted.
Officers Duties. The President shall preside at all meetings of the Association, preserve order and decorum, decide all questions of order, subject to the body and shall have a vote on all questions. The Vice President shall be the Acting President in the absence of the President. The Vice President shall be the President if a permanent vacancy occurs by the death or resignation of the President. The office holders shall move up in the order of ascendancy to President if a permanent vacancy occurs in any of the other Officer positions.
