ORIENTATION AND EDUCATION. Section 1. When orientation is provided for new employees, the Employer shall inform the new employee(s) that their position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, and provide the name of a designated Federation representative who can be contacted by the employee during non-duty hours to provide additional information.

ORIENTATION AND EDUCATION. Section 7.1 Hospice will provide appropriate Hospice care orientation and continuing education to Facility staff personnel who provide care to Residents under this Agreement. Such orientation and continuing education shall be mutually approved by Hospice and Facility, and in conjunction with the Hospitals’ staff development and education staff. The objectives of such orientation and continued education are set forth on Exhibit C attached hereto. Hospice shall designate the individual(s) responsible for the provision of such training on Exhibit C.
ORIENTATION AND EDUCATION. 12.01 The Employer recognizes the need for an Employer Orientation Program of such duration as it may deem appropriate taking into consideration the needs of the Employer and the employee involved. During the orientation program the employee will shadow another employee for a variety of day and evening shifts.

  • Training and Education SECTION 1 – Law Enforcement Supervisors’ Training The state and the PBA recognize the importance of supervisor training programs to develop management skills in our law enforcement supervisors. The state will make a reasonable effort to continue existing training programs in law enforcement techniques and to develop new programs in performance review techniques, supervisory skills, and managerial techniques.

  • Education and Training The foundation of this Program is education and voluntary compliance. It is recognized that alcohol and chemical dependency may make voluntary cessation of use difficult, and one of the Program’s principal aims is to make voluntary steps toward ending substance abuse easily available. The outside contractor shall review and develop on-going educational and training information on the adverse consequences of substance abuse and the responsibility to avoid being under the influence of alcohol or chemicals at work. Certain training required by the DOT Regulations shall be the responsibility of the Substance Abuse Program.

  • Orientation and Training A transferring employee will be orientated separately to both or their new home in accordance with Article 20 the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or technical institute degree/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
