Overtime/Extra time shall first be offered to the most senior employee within the building and department where the overtime/extra time is needed. If the most senior employee refuses the overtime/extra time, then the work will be offered to the next most senior employee and so on until the overtime/extra time rotation list, comprised of all employees wishing overtime/extra time in order of seniority has been completed. The supervisor shall move to the next place on the overtime/extra time rotation list when new overtime/extra time is available. If no employee voluntarily accepts the overtime/extra time, the least senior employee shall be assigned the work. This subsection shall be limited to food service employees, operation & maintenance employees, and paraprofessionals when non-specialized paraprofessional employees are needed. The employee accepting the overtime must be fully qualified and physically capable to perform the required work.

Overtime/Extra. All overtime work shall, from May 15, 2000, be paid by hourly wages amounting to 0.992% of the monthly wages for day work. This proportion becomes 0.956% from January 1, 2001, 0.921% from January 1, 2002, and 0.862% from January 1, 2003. All work during special holidays shall, from May 15, 2000, be paid by the hour with hourly wages amounting to 1.314% of monthly wages for day work.   • Overtime Premium (a) Employees shall be entitled to payment of time and one-half (1-1/2X) the employee's basic straight time hourly rate for all authorized overtime work in excess of seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours in a tour of duty or in excess of the average full-time hours of work over the period scheduled by the Hospital. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two (2) weeks. It is understood that no overtime will be paid where the time worked was a result of an exchange at shifts between employees. Overtime shall be distributed as equally as practical among those employees normally performing the type of work to be done on overtime. Notice of overtime work shall be given as soon as practically possible. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonably authorized overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • Overtime Payments (1) Subject to the provisions of this subclause, all work performed outside of the Ordinary Hours and time worked to accrue an RDO on any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.
