Overtime Saturday. Work on Saturday will be paid at time and one-half rates for the first four (4) consecutive hours. Doubletime will be paid for allhours worked continuously on Saturday in excess of this four (4) consecutive hour period. Notice for non-scheduled work shall be posted not later than Thursday for all employees. Overtime Sunday and Holidays Double time will be paid for all hours worked on Sunday and for all hours worked on a holiday, in addition to any holiday pay for which an employee is otherwise eligible. When it becomes necessary to work overtime, men shall not be laid off to equalize the time worked. So far as it is reasonable and practical to do so, available overtime will be distributed equally among the employees in their respectivejob classifications. Overtime Saturday. 23.41 Employees will be compensated at the rate of time and one- half their regular rate for all hours worked on Saturday except in those cases where the hours worked on Saturday are a part of the employee’s regularly scheduled shift or workweek or if the employee has worked less than forty hours during the week as a result of having been on an unpaid absence.   • Saturday Sunday and designated paid holidays shall not be counted in determining the time within which any action is to be taken or completed under the grievance procedure.

  • Holidays on Saturday or Sunday When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, the following workday not a holiday shall be deemed to be that holiday.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Sunday Employees at the Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:29 p.m. Sunday.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
