Park Seasonal Personal Time Off. Park Seasonals shall accrue Personal Time Off (PTO), in lieu of any other paid leaves such as holiday, vacation, or sick leave. Initial accrual shall be 6 hours for any pay period month in which the employee has been in paid status for at least 11 days. After a full season of employment (8 months), returning Park Seasonals shall accrue 8 hours of PTO per qualifying pay period month, increasing to 10 hours of PTO per qualifying pay period month after two full seasons (16 months) of employment. Up to 16 months of PTO may be accrued. Any PTO not utilized at the time of the employee’s annual termination shall be converted to wages at the employee’s current rate of pay or retained for the following season at the option of the employee. However, employees who opt to retain such PTO and who do not return to the City’s employment in the following season shall forfeit all such PTO and shall not be entitled to any compensation for the forfeited leave.

Park Seasonals who worked the 2005 season and return in 2006 shall be considered to be in year 2 and shall accrue 8 hours of PTO. Up to 16 months of PTO may be accrued.   • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one hour increments.

Faculty members needing to use sick/personal days shall fill out the requisite forms according to official College procedures.

  • Personal Leave Accrual All employees shall accrue personal leave at the rate of one and twenty-three hundredths (1.23) hours for each eighty (80) hours in active pay status, excluding overtime hours, not to exceed a total of thirty-two (32) hours accrued in one year.

  • Personal Leave Day A. An employee may choose one (1) workday as a personal leave day each fiscal year during the life of this Agreement if the employee has been continuously employed for more than four (4) months.

  • Unused Personal Leave Since a number for the available personal leave days has been established, a basic discussion will need to be had regarding unused personal leave days. Naturally, these differ from vacation days since the Employer will not always be required to pay the Employee when personal leave is taken. If a dollar amount will be attached to each personal leave day that is unused so that it can be paid to that Employee then, select the first checkbox presented in the list of options provided and record the dollar amount that shall be paid for one unused personal day.
