Participation/Eligibility. Employees with more than ten (10) days of accumulated Sick Leave and at least one (1) year of service (at least 75% of the school year) in the District may participate in the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees who elect to join the Catastrophic Leave Bank may join the bank only during open enrollment periods and must have a waiting period of thirty (30) calendar days after joining the bank before becoming eligible to withdraw from it. The Catastrophic Leave Bank shall not be available to any employee during a leave absence. Employees returning from a Board approved extended leave of absence shall have thirty (30) calendar days from the first day of employment to sign up for participation in the Catastrophic Leave Bank if the open enrollment period has expired.

Pro rata payments for credits earned under this program will be made to employees who leave the employ of the Police or Communications Departments during the program year. Program Year The program year will be November 1 through October 31.

Participation/Eligibility. Permanent classified unit members with more than five (5) days of accumulated sick leave may participate in the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Unit members who elect to join the Catastrophic Leave Bank may join the bank only during open enrollment periods and must have a waiting period of thirty (30) calendar days after joining the bank before becoming eligible to withdraw from it. The Catastrophic Leave Bank shall not be available to any unit member during a paid leave of absence. New unit members upon completion of probation and unit members returning from a Board-approved extended leave of absence shall have thirty (30) calendar days from the first day of employment to sign up for participation in the Catastrophic Leave Bank if the open enrollment period has expired.
Participation/Eligibility. Any student actively enrolled (this includes students who are actively enrolled, but officially on leave) at Concordia University Xxx Arbor campus in the spring of 2025 or fall of 2024 semester (“Teach Out Student(s)”) shall be a beneficiary of this MOU by enrolling in a program agreed upon by CUWAA and LU as listed in Exhibit A. CUWAA students who wish to participate in the teach out at LU must participate in the CUAA comparable program designated by LU in Exhibit
Participation/Eligibility. Each Participating Musician is a rostered member of the bargaining unit of the [symphony orchestra] which is represented by AFM Local (“Local ”).
a. Musician participation is entirely voluntary. No musician will suffer adverse consequences of any kind for declining to participate.
b. Each and every musician who participates signs this agreement as an individual and participates as an individual.
c. Only rostered musicians are eligible to participate, subject to the exception in paragraph 5 below.
