LEAVE ABSENCE. The Board agrees that where permission has been granted to represen- tatives of the Union to leave their employment temporarily in order to carry on negotiations with the Board or with respect to a griev- ance, they shall suffer no loss of pay for the time so spent. LEAVE ABSENCE. When the requirements of the Company's services will permit, any employee hereunder, upon written application to the Company with a copy of the said application to the Union, may, if approved by the Company, be granted a Leave of Absence for a period of thirty days.
