Receive parts 5. Ship parts orders There shall be two (2) levels of parts counter employees: An entry level parts counter position. A parts counter employee with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a parts counterperson related to the Company’s markets. Proficient in performing all parts counter duties including, but not limited to: 1. Customer contact 2. Looking up part numbers 3. Entering and processing orders 4. Backorder sourcing and processing 5. Expediting parts
Parts Department. 1. The starting and stopping time on standard shifts, as well as the meal period shall be mutually arranged by the Company and the Union, it being understood that the meal period shall not be less than thirty (30) minutes. 2. The standard work day shall consist of eight (8) hours, and the standard work week shall consist of forty (40) hours on the first shift, worked between the hours of 7:30a.m. and 5:30p.m. 3. Effective December 1, 1999 if second shift is employed, the hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7½) hours of work, between the hours of 12:00p.m. and 12:00a.m. Monday through Friday for which eight (8) hours shall be paid and a shift premium of seventy cents (.70¢) shall be added to the classified hourly rate. The Company recognizes the concerns of the employees as well as competitive concerns and will make every effort to consider both in setting schedules. Other than the 4:00p.m. to midnight shift the Company agrees to give two (2) weeks notice to employees when changing the start time of the second shift. On the second shift the Company agrees to pay the lead hand rate, when the partsman has to do the lead hand job or if alone. 4. Five (5) shifts Monday to Friday inclusive, and/or Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, shall constitute a regular week's work. The hours of work for the Tuesday to Saturday shift shall be between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30p.m. These employees shall receive a premium of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour.

Parts DepartmentThe Company will supply and pay for five (5) shirts every two (2) years. The Company agrees to supply five (5) cotton t-shirts for summer use for garage staff.

Parts Department. In addition to the Parts technician hourly rate the following premiums are available to be achieved through the following eligibility requirements. Parts Diamond Certified For those Parts Technicians that have competed online courses from International will be eligible for a Diamond training premium. To receive the premium the Employee must complete 100% of the courses on November 1st that were available 30 days prior on October 1st. The premium would be paid for 1 full year starting November 1st to October 31st the following year. Diamond Certified (100% of course competition) = $0.50/hour Other premiums (assigned by management) Parts Line Xxxxxx (LF) *See below $1.50/ hour Shift premium Paid for all regular hours worked past 6.00 pm (M-F) and all hours worked on Saturdays or Sundays. Not paid on overtime hours. $3.00/ hour *Premiums paid for the performance of duties assigned by management and these additional responsibilities will be reviewed with the Employee prior to commencement. These Employees shall not be required to perform disciplinary functions normally performed by management.
Parts Department. (a) All vacancies shall be posted so that any Employee within the Department, regardless of seniority, may apply for such vacancy. (b) The senior Employee applying for the vacancy shall be given a reasonable period of trial, in accordance with the provisions of subsection 9.01 (e) of this Article, to determine the Employee’s ability to perform such job. (c) The Company reserves the right to reject applicants to the Partsman category if their past skill, proficiency or performance was not satisfactory. (d) It is understood and agreed that the Company may place Partsmen in any area within the Department to perform duties as a Partsman on a “where needed as needed” basis. However, on any replacement lasting more than three (3) weeks senior Employees shall have the right to decline the relocation and the least senior Employee capable of performing the work shall be assigned to the job.
