Pay While on Leave. As a condition of receiving a personal leave of absence, an employee will be required to use all available paid leave accruals before being permitted to take unpaid leave.
Pay While on Leave. Any bargaining unit employee who must be absent from his/her duties due to physical disability resulting from an assault while "Working, or in school-related activities to which he/she has been assigned on or off school premises before, during or after school hours, will be paid his/her full compensation for the period of such absence up to one (1) full year.
Pay While on Leave. The employee may use accrued leave or the employer may require an employee to use accrued leave. The City will not require an employee to use accrued leave if use of leave jeopardizes a short or long-term disability benefit. An employee with a planned vacation or other absence may retain up to two (2) weeks of paid vacation or other leave.
Pay While on Leave. Except where otherwise stated, all leaves of absence are without pay.
